I've been eating steadily since one o'clock, but nothing major - just some tuna pasta salad, some rye bread, some wry bread, a couple of donuts, some dark chocolate almond bark and now I want to vomit on the ground.

I bet BK can figure out the Mendes/Wild West connection, since he knows everyone who's anyone.

Or, conversely, page eight will single-handedly take us to me.

Here's another, easy one:  what's the only Top 40 hit to feature an opening phrase of 7 consecutive half steps?  (Elmore will know this one, I'm sure).

I am taking a break from The Mod Squad (the most recent episode was directed by Jack Arnold, he of the Incredible Shrinking Man), and Gene Nelson has directed a couple of episodes, and boy was HE a terrible director.

Why do you think Sally was always not going right, not going left?

JMK, Stevie Wonder performed on one of Sergio's 1970s albums, and also performed on at least one of the music videos for Will Smith's WILD WILD WEST.

From my DS, a wonderfully scented pine candle:

My DH and I have agreed on a joint gift to each other: We will pay for a motel room when the relatives visit later this year.

For them or for you?

Well, OK, then.  I of course knew the Sergio/Stevie connection (it's "New Brasil '77," featuring "Real Thing" and "Love City," co-written by Stevie, and Stevie plays and sings on "Real Thing").  I absolutely detested the Will Smith film, so I don't think I ever saw a video from it.

In any case, no, that's not the connection (at least not the one I'm thinking of).   ::)

It's a connection between Sergio and the television series.

I am glad you are enjoying THE MOD SQUAD set, BK. A gal I work with is crazy, mad about THE MOD SQUAD and couldn't even wait (although she had to) for the DVD release. I remember watching the show when I was a wee, bit of a twig of a lad. I borrowed some of her old VHS tape releases of assorted episodes and thought they were a lot of fun.

Actually, my favorite part of the show is the beginning credits where it shows all the characters running.

Once we got home, I made the cake.  Of course, trying to track down the measuring cups was "fun".  Additionally, my mom had no idea where she put her hand-mixer, so I whisked it all up by hand.  -With a very small whisk.

Now Jose, no reason to be ashamed.
