You knew it was community theater when the Doo Wop girls came out...lol, there were 6 of them, all over 40 and all about 30-40 punds overweight in skin tight black outfits that showed many more bulges and curves than we needed to see.

Sounds like another case of TMI (too much information).

Well, after today's perfromance, we are almost half-way through the run of ANNE FRANK.  We have tomorrow off, but then Tuesday morning we have our first school matinee at 9:30 a.m. - SHARP.  At the school's request, the diary entries regarding Anne's period and about touching her girl friends' breasts have been eliminated.

And once I got back to the apartment, I made sure to do something I haven't done in a while - and should have - I stretched.

I set up my yoga mat in the living room, and did a good 30 minutes of stretching and some yoga poses.  And it's amazing just how much that session of stretching has helped.  My sciatica has been acting up the past couple of weeks, and I've also been dealing with some very tight hamstrings and lower back muscles.  But after the stretching I just did....  Hmmmm...  I actually feel taller.  -And I probably am since my hamstrings aren't causing extra tension on my spine.  Note to self: Stretch every day!

Yes! Jose, do you know Jim Wharton's book or Bob Anderson's classic, just titled "Stretching"? Both are great!

We are, of course, still allowed to tell exactly how and where each of the characters died.

How old is the audience?

5th - 7th/8th graders may completely forget the entire point of the   2 hour play and only remember

"she touched her friend's ....!!!!!!"

DearReader Laura ... I do love your pictures

You should put out a book of your photographs entitled "I Took A Walk Today..."

As much as I talk about cleaning, I haven't done much. My goal is to wake up in the morning and go fulls speed ahead in the hopes of finishing most of it before I wake up enough to realize what I'm doing...

Tomorrow my whole family is home: DH has a day off from the post office; DS is home from school; Sandra is home from preschool. I have to sit at the office with the hopes that the man coming to repair the copy machine shows up.

Yes, INVASION OF THE STAR CREATURES was every bit as horrible as can be imagined. It was a comedy starring actors Bob Ball and Frankie Ray. Now Frankie is actually a comedian, and a couple of times he made me chuckle...but Bob Ball...oy...he was channelling Stan Laurel and Jerry Lewis at the same time. It was tragic.

The movie did get a bit better when the two space women popped into the script, since both actresses were fairly competent...their characters names were Puna and Tang.

For some reason that just sounds dirty.

Interesting approach. Perhaps I should try it.

Where are all our Grease-aholics?

I'm here!  I'm here!  Now, that is.

Some friends came over, so we all ordered pizza and watched TAR, The Apprentice, and Grease - The DVR is a wonderful thing!

So, that's where I've been, and now to catch up on posts, and post myself.

But if that movie weren't bad enough I still have ROBOT MONSTER coming up as well as.....

this movie was, sometime in the late 60s, re-cut and had footage added and made into the atrocity known as THEY SAVED HITLERS BRAIN.

I am only watching it because it stars Scott Peters who played Stan the marine in ATTACK OF THE PUPPET PEOPLE.

I began my evening with CHARLIE CHAN AT THE OLYMPICS. Much of it was more spy intrigue than murder mystery, but there was indeed a murder or two, and I correctly identified the murderer before he was revealed.

This was a CHAN I had never seen before, so I did enjoy it. I never knew Lee Chan was our gold medalist in the 100m freestyle at the Berlin Olympics. One learns something every day!

Next I watched an episode from LAW & ORDER: CI 2nd season set. This was the episode where a substitute teacher in Queens became a terrorist bomber. I remembered seeing the episode that culminated in a tense confrontation at the Veterans' Day Parade in NYC. Very scary stuff.
