Then I started on the Blu-ray of RATATOUILLE. As excellent as the SD-DVD looked, the Blu-ray leaves it FAR behind. Such depth and detail is staggering to behold (light shimmering on and slightly reflecting off of Remy's whiskers, just amazing detail.)
I'm using the new Blu-ray feature of in-movie experience (which HD-DVD has had from the start), and thus it's making the movie VERY long - 2 hours already with all the segues into bonus featurettes and side excursions, and I still have almost an hour of the movie to go). Still, it's a leap up in quality from the A quality of the SD-DVD.
