PITCHING WOO

Well, you've read the notes, the notes pitched woo, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently pitching MOO.

"Bus and Truck" is indeed quite perky!       :)

I'm pretty sure that I have never before encountered the phrase "pitching woo."

Glad that Sandy's show went well.

Good morning, all! In about 15 minutes we rehearse with Annalene and Eamonn on their duet "The Touch Of Your Hand." I just came from breakfast with Jason,Glenn, Annalene,  and Patrick.  The butter and eggs are so much better than those in the States.

It's good to know that Sandy's show went well.

I will return after the rehearsals.

This morning I really need that proverbial one more hour of sleep.  I think this is one of those times I'll enjoy my coffee and then drop blissfully into a short nap.

If you reverse the two initial letters of today's topic title, then you almost have this:

Well, now I'm happy I didn't get to BODY DOUBLE last night.  This time it makes sense to read what BK has to say in the notes, watch for these things with a critical, demanding eye, and be done with it.

I'm especially happy to read those words about DRESSED TO KILL, which, when it came out on Blu-ray a couple of years ago, I started to watch ..... and couldn't get through it!  As with BODY DOUBLE, I hadn't returned to it since it opened.  I do remember the great audience expectation and excitement at all of these.  At least in Hollywood and Westwood.  The only "Hitchcock" ones I went back to a few times were SISTERS and OBSESSION.  Might Bernard Herrmann's contributions have had something to do with that?  Why yes, I believe so.  These other ones got the one-time "dutiful" attendance.

There must have been Windows update last night....my start bar at the bottom of the page is now white....if I want to change it back, I will have to go into settings, I guess.

Good morning, all.

Have some more butter and eggs for me, Elmore. And rehearsal/recording vibes coming your way.

Ask BK:

So, what is your favorite Alan and Marilyn Bergman song?

Was not a fan of Body Double back in the day. Craig Wasson always seemed to self-conscious and "actor-y" in ways that I found distracting. That said, I think he's a fine reader of audio books. I know I've listened to him read a couple of Stephen King books and enjoyed those.

Thanks, DR FJL. Did not realize that the original PUFNSTUF had only run 17 episodes!
