Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of Kritzerland at Vitello's 92, and now it is time for you to post until the 92 cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: LIBRATE!
-
First post after BK!
-
Topic of the Day (in alphabetical order):
Alfredo
Caramel
Chocolate
Hot fudge
Marinara
Those are what I can think of right now.
-
Now, time for bed.
Have a good day, all!
-
Good morning, all!
-
Nothing to report here.
-
I am wondering if perhaps I might have tendonitis in my left ankle. The pain is horrendous.
-
The final word.
-
Congrats to MR BK & Co....on their wonderful show.
-
Good morning, all.
-
DR GEORGE and DR TCB - your audition stories remind me of Danny Thomas' story about the man and the car jack.....

The new Supreme Court.
-
This recliner has me thinking I sure could use another hour of sleep.
-
Hmm. You know what I haven’t had in at least twenty years?
Fried Spam.
Sliced thin, fried to a crisp. Or as close to a crisp as it will get.
-
Good morning!
-
Congrats on another successful show, BK!
-
From DR TCB:
It is actually bothering me more than I would have expected.
This does not surprise me. I hope they are simply slow in responding.
-
Call back vibes for DR George.
-
From DR TCB:
I was probably, at least, thirty years older than the next oldest actor auditioning.
Wow!
-
From TCB:
Perhaps I should be auditioning for a production of Methuselah!
:D
-
I am wondering if perhaps I might have tendonitis in my left ankle. The pain is horrendous.
OUCH! Vibes it is something that a couple days of rest will clear it up.
-
Monday morning greetings! Sliding in just under the wire...
-
I had a fun girls' weekend in Fort Wayne, Indiana, with my sister, my niece, and my niece's friend. We gathered on Friday for dinner, then went to a Make & Take event that was like card-making speed-dating. We visited 9 stations in 15-minute increments and came away with 9 mostly finished products.
-
On Saturday we spent several hours and some $$$ at the vendor show, then watched Michigan football in the room my sister and I were sharing. Went out for Mexican food for dinner and crashed for the night.
-
Yesterday morning we had breakfast at the hotel, then dispersed - my sister to Michigan, Laura and Diane to Illinois, and me to Ohio. I was home in time to have lunch with Richard and watch the Bengals pull out a very exciting victory in the Cincinnati heat.

This sounds exhausting but fun.

Not for the fainthearted and, definitely, not for beginners!

Good afternoon, all.
-
I had to escape the office. I’m sitting on the River Walk in an Irish pub awaiting a plate of fish and no chips (coleslaw) with my fake beer (water). The sound of the water is welcome.
-
Two!
-
I'm up, I'm up - sort of. About six hours of sleep thanks to allergies. Took a pill, was up for an hour at six-thirty, then finally fell back asleep.
-
Good morning.
-
We have had lots of nice rain over the past couple of weeks. Yesterday we had another Pacific hurricane blow through. This morning, my windows are open. First time since about last March.
-
Elmore, does it feel like an icepick in your heel? That's what I had.
-
This week I either have sciatica or piriformis syndrome.
-
Today is my daughter-in-law's due date. Maybe I am just on pins and needles.

It sounds lovely. I am sorry you have to return to the office after lunch.

There are stretches that helped. Do you know any?
-

Exciting though I wouldn't hold my breath as first babies are notoriously late.
-
Elmore, does it feel like an icepick in your heel? That's what I had.
No, DR Laura, it's in the front of my ankle, and the pain when standing or moving is unbearable.
-
This getting old is no fun, DR Elmore.
-
DR Jeanne, or any DR, do you know something that will soothe my incision? Now that t-shirt season is over clothing is irritating one edge of my incision. I am staying home this morning to let is have a rest from anything touching it.

The final word.

That's funny! But I won't obsess about it. Whether they ask me or not, it is what it is. It's out of my hands now.

That's certainly what it feels like. ::)

Call back vibes for DR George.
Thanks, Jane!

Back from a patty melt and a cup of chicken soup. I am really not feeling good, whether that's allergies or because the rehearsal room last Thursday was sixty degrees. I put my foot down about the air being that cold.
-
It's official! I received an e-mail officially asking me to come to call-backs tomorrow night! WHEW!! :D

When we lived in Massachusetts just about everyone I knew left the heat turned down to 60-62 degrees during the winter. It save on the cost of heat. I would get annoyed that after being cold all day, not that it bothered the kids, Keith would come home and turn the heat up.

Hello, everyone.
-
Congrats to DR George on the call-back!
Will you be singing the same song or a different one?

Jane, for things skin-related I use calendula gel. I find it rather soothing. The one I've been using is by Boiron. A small tube lasts me a very long time. I don't need it often, but I like having it on hand.

Sorry to hear this. Is there an Urgent Care center you could go to?
-
A few days ago TCB asked what new shows DRs are watching. As I'm usually at least a season behind I'd like to expand that to what are your favorite shows for the past few years.
-
Any takers?
-
Great photo of you and Richard Sherman, Bruce.
-
I'm looking forward to the return of GRANTCHESTER, but that won't be until spring. I'll miss James Norton.
-
I also like CALL THE MIDWIFE, but I miss Miranda Hart. She really added something to the show.
-
TTFN.

Dr Jennifer and DR Michael,

Thank you. I will give it a try.

I agree.

After all this time we still miss her.
-
We plan to watch Nathan Fillion's new show, The Rookie, on the 16th.
-
The workman came for a little bit this morning. Tomorrow they should be done with the painting. Because we complained they took extra care to fix the problems we complained about and we expect to be satisfied with the work.
We are waiting to find out when the carpet will be installed so the job will be completed and we can have our home back.
-
Congrats to DR George on the call-back!

Thanks, Jeanne! They sent links with scenes and song excerpts. We can read over those and become familiar with them or sight read it all at the call-backs.
-
Well, I need to be leaving now. I'm off to the first production meeting (well, the first that I know about and am going to) for The Rocky Horror Show. I'm co-props manager, so this'll be the first time that I'm meeting with Anita, who is the other co-props manager. She played the lead in The Trip to Bountiful last year where I ran the sound, so we know each other. She's very nice. :)
Be back later.

Great news, George.

I agree.
It was indeed.
-
Pain be gone vibes for Elmore.
-
Starting to watch Broken Lance with Spencer Tracy, Robert Wagner and Richard Widmark.
-
It also has Earl Holliman in it. This is the third picture in three weeks with him in it that I've seen. He has a long history in San Antonio. He ran a dinner theater here for a great many years.
-
I drove home in a huge downpour. A couple of the streets were covered with several inches of water.
-
Saw a few flashes of lightning on the way.
-
Now the thunder has started.
-
So, in Broken Lance, we're expected to believe Richard Widmark, Robert Wagner, Hugh O'Brian and Earl Holliman are brothers. There must have been four different fathers. (Spencer Tracy. Ha!)
-
After a particularly hard day at work, dance-athletics was particularly grueling. And that was a good thing.
-
But I'm exhausted.
-
And I think I'll have to soak for a while.
-
The reviews for the new off-Broadway Oklahoma! are interesting.
-
We could get off this page soon.
-
But it seems a chore.
-
Four!
-
More street performers! My favorite here starts about 18:03.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WkamfiP4RUU
-
The Shark commercials are very entertaining, too.
-
Ta ta!
-
Break a leg, George!
-
Back to Broken Lance after a long soak.
-
Had the Villa Lobos Choros No. 6 on during the soak. Great music.
-
Back from rehearsal. I got the entire opening number done - it's quite long with little dialogue bits that occur. I got the opening pretty quickly, but when it got to the main part of the song I staged it and didn't like it, so I gave everyone a break and then completely redid it, because I got a really good idea for it. It worked great, but it really did take all three hours. Happily there's not much of that kind of thing, mostly two or three person scenes.
-
Good evening.
-
Hi, George.
-
Congratulations to George on the callback.
-
Page 4? 101?
-
Where has everyone been today?
-
I did not accomplish much today
-
Celebrate Columbus Day by getting lost, planting a flag and sayimg, "I meant to do that."
-
I sat around feeling sorry for myself.
-
I had not heard anything about the auditions.
-
So, I was depressed.
-
Then they sent out an email tonight saying that because of some scheduling conflicts; the cast list will not be released until, at least, Thursday evening.
-
A lot can happen in all that time.
-
Hi, jan.
-
I haven’t seen all of the new shows this season, but I have sampled some of them.
-
CBS has two of the worst new sitcoms of this or any season!
-
THE NEIGHBORHOOD and HAPPY TOGETHER are frightening bad.
-
Neither one of them has anywhere to go, because they are basically one-joke premises.
-
I do like the new Dick Wolf series, FBI. So far, it seems pretty good.
-
George? Are you there?
-
TCB, I have to agree about the 2 sitcoms. Just plain bad!
-
George? Are you there?
Yes...just ketchuping on the posts.
-
And now...
-
5!!!!!
-
It's official! I received an e-mail officially asking me to come to call-backs tomorrow night! WHEW!! :D
Great news, George.
Thanks, John!
-
Break a leg, George!
Thanks, Fred!

Thanks, Tom!

Be back later.
The production meeting went really well. The director (Chris, who is the managing artistic director of Tacoma Little Theatre) gave us a list of the props that he expects. It's a MUCH shorter list than what I had for Legally Blonde!
-
And during the meeting, we went through the list and several other people said that they were getting this or already had that, and we actually cut the list in half of what Anita and I will need to get!
-
And some things weren't really props items, like a litter so that Frankenfurter can be carried on. Things like that.
-
One thing that Anita said that she'd like to make (she's very crafty) is a guitar arm. Eddie plays a gutar and they're going to have Frankenfurter kill Eddie《SPOILERS!!》with his own guitar.
-
The actor playing Eddie has a real guitar that I think he's going to actually play, so a fake broken bloody one needs to be made. Anita was pretty excited about actually making something with materials that she uses as a hobby!
-
AND I won't have to try and find two other matching guitars to buy and break one!
-
:D
-
Sorry, I got kicked out again.
-
One more thing about tonight's production meeting...afterward, I was talking to Kyle the managing artistic director of Broadway Olympia Productions, and he was very encouraging about the call-backs. ;D
-
He didn't exactly admit it, but he inferred that there was a derth of adult male actors auditioning, so I think my chances of being in the show are REALLY good!
-
We'll see!
-
One more thing about tonight's production meeting...afterward, I was talking to Kyle the managing artistic director of Broadway Olympia Productions, and he was very encouraging about the call-backs. ;D
That is great, George! This is for CHRISTMAS STORY?
