Well, I have to be at the theatre in two hours, and I still have some stuff to take care of here, as well as making a stop by the post office on the way in...

I have to say that ANNA was interrupted at least four times by the phone ringing. By the last half hour, I just stopped answering and let the machine pick up.

I would have torn the phone out of its wall socket!

I'm very happy to see SCRUBS finally back on the NBC schedule even though it's going to get creamed in the ratings by football on ABC. I'll definitely be watching SCRUBS.

Isn't Scruns on Tuesday? Football is on Mondays on ABC and I believe it was also cancelled and the last broadcast was a couple of days ago.

Not the NFL, the bowl games.  They were not played on january 1st but instead are being spread over this week!  Tonight a game and tomorrow (wed) the Rose Bowl!

Sweet Whillaker's Ghost! Rodzinski is back!!!

Hope everyone had nice holidays. I was, as reported by my esteemed colleague TPunk, off galavanting about my boyhood haunts, what we call "Chicagoland".

I was a bit subsumed by family, so I am sorry to have neglected my internet "family", but I shall do my best to catch up and return to solid citizenship here at HHW.

I did, at least, get to meet the great JRand in person at the World of Wisdom Bookstore.

A million thanks to DR Jason for taking care of Mssrs. Killbot and Walty.

Meeting JRand was quite a happy accident, as we had checked and they said he was not working the day we were in Indianapolis, and TPunk got the idea to leave him some goodies, which we did, and just by chance he stopped by to help choreograph a little Elvis impersonation/dance.

What else did we do? Saw a few movies, gambled a few bucks on the casino boat in Hammond, and just generally visited with my various sisters and their broods.

There was one day that the sun shone.

HI all,
Just a warning. I received an email that looked like a legitimate Paypal email, but it said I had purchased an engine for 600 and some dollars with 200 something for shipping. It was addressed to Dear Paypal Member, and had a link to click on if I didn't authorize the payment.   I didn't click on it, instead I opened a new window and went to the Paypal site and saw that this transaction had never been taken out of my account.   I also read that Paypal NEVER addresses a receipt  or email about a transaction to "Paypal member" or anything like that - they use your name.   I forwarded the email to spoof@paypal.com and later received confirmation that it was a spoof email and that if I had clicked on the link (I didn't) I should immediately change my Paypal password.

So, I just thought I'd pass on the warning.

TPunk and Rodzinski - welcome home

Vixmom - I haven't had Netflix long, but I love it. I love being able to keep a dvd until I get around to it and getting the next ones back very quickly when I send one in.   Bride and Prejudice should be here tomorrow.  I'm inching my way into Bollywood.

I took Dr Jane's Nationally Famous Fudge to work today so I wouldn't eat it all at home.....I proceeded to eat it all day at work. That didn't work, but it tasted great!

I had a DVD from Netflix for several months before I finally gave up and just paid for it.  I couldn't find it at all!  I know I have it buried somewhere in my house, but I have no idea where.  Someday (hopefully soon), I'll go through all my stuff and get rid of a lot of things and find it...hopefully real soon! ;) But if I do find it, I know I can keep it and not feel guilty. ;D

Good Evening!

Hmm... 15 posts in five hours?  Hmm... We can't have BK getting out that machine so early in 2006.

We had a good show tonight.  A sort of small house, well, maybe more like a smaller house.  But very appreciative.  -And everyone in the cast, crew and orchestra came back rested and rarin' to get going again after the day off.

...Just five more weeks to go.

They helped, but were much more restrained, limiting themselves to one piece or two at the most. They raved about it but were keeping their diets.

Had a nice night with bunches of video viewings.

Started with last night's CSI: MIAMI which was a sad case of a girl found drenching wet in a park where there had been no rain for days. As always, the show looked great in HD.

Thank you, DR Jennifer, for supplying the information to Michael Shayne's "correction." Yes, it is the time of year for bowl games, DR Michael, and that was the football to which I was referring. The bowl game on ABC dominated the ratings on Monday night, and I'm sure the game tonight and the game tomorrow night (the national championship featuring the #1 and #2 teams in the Rose Bowl) will be no different.

Well, I'm going to have to wussburger. I didn't sleep well last night and am very tired.   I think I'm just stressed out over working out the final house details and realizing how much work I'm going to have to do to get the deal done, move in and get this house on the market by March (a self set time limit that I can move but would rather not)...oh yeah and go to work too.   I think tomorrow we will have the details  worked out and it will just be a matter of everything falling into place.

It will all be over before you know it, but this is when I need the time machine to move me forward until the time that it is all done and I'm happily in my new home.

One very good thing is that all this packing and moving will require me to do a lot of exercise.  I may be svelt before it's over.....that would be very nice :-)

I followed up with another CSI: NY episode from the DVDs, this one concerning the murders of two longshoremen under mysterious circumstances. A second case involved a sexual thrill game gone wrong.

BONES had a somber repeat episode involving the team working on the corpse of a six year old boy. Very sad story for the most part

SCRUBS is crazier than ever, and for this show, that's going some. I laughed out loud several times, but I did think everyone was trying perhaps somewhat overly hard to be wacky which blunted some of the humor at least for me.

SVU had a very interesting case with a child (the young actor who played/plays Walt on LOST) witnessing the shooting of his mother. What seemed to be a fairly simple case got more and more involved

until we got to a truly HUGE surprise during the trial section that I was totally dumbfounded (and delighted) by.
