bk - no one expects you to lose money on these releases.  Why can't you raise the price a bit for a 2-CD set?  If doing so will give you a margin of comfort, why not?

CACOGRAPHY!

CACOGRAPHY is to writing as CACAPHONY is to sound.

I think the 2-Cd set with a price bump would be fine.....if people WANT this CD, they REALLY WANT IT...and will be pleased to have the soundtrack.  I love my re-recordings of Bernstein's THE CARPETBAGGERS and WALK ON THE WILD SIDE, but soundtracks would be great, too.

Rehearsal was quite good last night, and I am looking forward to the dress rehearsal tonight.  The lights really do look good, and most of the songs were well done.

The Moors did their scene better than they ever have.

I'm expecting a box of DVDs today, forwarded to me from Los Angeles.  I'm not quite sure what's in it, but I think that one title is THE SOLOIST.

It had been bright and sunny as I drove into Philly this morning but now in a matter of minutes the clouds have rolled in and covered the sky.  Looks like the stormy weather that's been predicted is arriving.

Good morning, all! Well, I was awake around 8:15 but it took me 30 more minutes to get the energy to get out of bed. I had several weird dreams, one involving the late great Larry Kert, but I remember next to nothing of them now. The left leg continues to be a problem, which I don't like, but I had a loverly visit from our DR Jose last night and he suggested I google "sciatica exercises" and try a few. So I now have around 8 pages of printed exercises to begin.

I have plenty of work here for the weekend: some Kern Oh, Boy! to be examined and contemplated and 4, I think, numbers from Life begins at 8:40 to proof. I'm hoping a check arrives in the post today, and if it arrives, I'll force myself to make a trip to the bank, which is luckily only a block from the apartment.

TOD:
DVD: some operetta DVDs and 3 items from Netflix; I tried watching CONFESSIONS OF A SHOPAHOLIC this week and turned it off after 30 minutes
CD:  Lots of Offenbach: Genevieve de Brabant, Bluebeard, Les Fees du Rhin, Guy Haines, Liz Callaway
VCR: when you feel like crap, who needs porn?

Friday morning greetings!

Thank you to DRs DAW and Elmore for the vibes for my brother-in-law.  As of today, it's been 2 weeks since his surgery.
