DR Jane ~ How is that darling DP Sherlock of the Big Paws -- and his mom and dad -- doing?

We are all very frustrated & want to go out and play.  Sherlock is lying next to me, wearing my old sweatshirt, looking very sad but cute.

This would be much easier to deal with if we knew if or when he can run free again.

Thanks for asking & letting me vent.

Yes, it does -- and that's why I'm hooked on this site -- the laughter medicine here is sooo addictive (it ought to come with a warning label.. and require a prescription)...it's dangerous being over the counter like this -- like eating candy...

Venting is good -- that's what friends and family are for -- so vent away -- AND give that precious pooch a gentle pet from me and tell him DR Karen thinks he's cute as a cat -- oh, wait he might take that as an insult so tell him he's cute as a bug in a rug...

DR Jason has always looked good as far as I could see. He is just a handsome guy and I am really happy to hear that he is doing well!!

DR MBarnum, the Beefcake at the Opera might have converted you to the lyric stage this evening.  I'm back from the two Puccini oneact operas, Il Tabarro and Gianni Schicchi, both very well staged for Manhattan School of Music by Ron Raines' lovely wife Dona D Vaughn, who is the very first "Bobby" you hear on the OBC.  There were several shirtless stevedores in the opening 10 minutes of Il Tabarro and DR MBarnum would have passed out, thought the remaining 30 minutes were fabulous.  Several of the stevedores came back clothed to sing secondary roles in Gianni Schicchi, a hilarious comedy about a dead man and his estate.

The casts for both operas were quite wonderful and dona's staging was apropos for both, with a wonderful surprise evening.  some of these grad students will have good careers. I'm just bummed I cannot go back to see the alternate casts.

My thanks to BK for his private CD listing today.

I filled some holes in my "collection" of BK-produced CD albums.

DR Jose, thanks for giving Mr  Kander a Brain.  I think you shoud get over the angst and see where this chance acquaintance goes.  I'm sure, with all the work you're hauling in, he's willing to kiss butt.  I know you'll enjoy that.

DR Ginny, did you figure out Paypal?

It's nearly time for prime TV viewing.  With all the reruns, I'm gonna watch "Smallville" in HD -- always a treat.
