Craig brought home the Scholastic magazine from work to read the all time top 100 books for kids.  They range from THE HUNGRY CATERPILLAR to ANN FRANK.  I'm surprised FAREWELL TO MANZANAR wasn't included.

The top pic is CHARLOTTE'S WEB.

Just had a lovelier than lovely telephonic conversation and, schedule permitting, it looks like we have Hal Linden for an Outside the Box episode.
Hoo and ray!

Michele Bachmann has a million dollar debt for running for president? I'd ask what kind of fool does that but I already know what kind of a fool she is! A Huge One!
Yes, but she has much more money than that, so it's a tax write-off.

Don't rain on my parade.

OK, will it make you feel better to remember she has to go home to that husband of hers?

She is Cleopatra, Queen of de Nial: he's not gay, he's not gay, he's . . .
He's just made that way.

Really loving the OST to MORE THAN A MIRACLE, which our very own BK was kind enough to tell me had been released by FSM.  The secondary theme is very Bacharach-ian.

Here's Steve Kazee's latest videoblog. He doesn't sing a song from "Once," but he does sing -- and that's good enough.

The News of the Day

The Bad News:  No sign of Danise's smart phone at my home.  Perhaps if the phone is really that smart, it will escape from UPS and find its own way to my house.

The Good News:  I have apparently been approved for Social Security Disability.  Well I have not received any kind of letter regarding this, I did receive a deposit into my checking account from them for what would be two months of Disability.  It could be Hush Money from Rick Santorum.

The Bad News:  I went to my pre-op appointment yesterday at St. Joseph's.  I completed my paperwork, my blood work was done and my EKG completed.  This afternoon I was notified that my EKG tends to indicate that I may have previously suffered a heart attack.  They are rushing me to see a cardiologist on Monday, but he will not have the results back until Monday 4/2/12 - the day before the scheduled surgery.

Actually, mom forgot to get the extras for me out of the van and took all of them home with her.  So, I didn't even get another one
