I don't know if I will watch MAJOR CRIMES or not. I am sorry to see THE CLOSER end, but since I was a late-comer to the show I do have several seasons to rent and watch....someday.

And on that note (E-natural), I'm off to my parents'.  My cousin and his wife are up from Oregon and they're leaving tomorrow morning.  Since I've been working on "Titus," I only got to see them for a little while on Saturday.  So, I'm going to visit with them.

Until later!

Speaking of several seasons, season 7, volumes one and two, of PERRY MASON are now up for pre-order.

This is one long running show I have been buying every season set of...along with ADAM-12. I will never tire of watching either show.

You'll enjoy them if you start from the beginning and watch how the characters and story develops.  I have to admit it's one of my favorite shows

I just saw that Helen Gurley Brown has passed away at age 90. For some reason I thought she had passed on some years ago.

That's what I thought, too. ::)

And I was shocked she was that old.

That was my thought.  She looked very good last time I'd seen her on TV.

One of the legends of local television news in Seattle, Kathi Goertzen, passed away today.  She  has battled couragiously against brain tumors for the last fourteen years, but each time she fought back and returned to the news desk.  The last few years, she refused to hide from the TV cameras, even though the most recent tumor had distorted her once beautiful face.  She was a news anchor in Seattle for thirty years.  She passed away today at the age of 54.

The show had been talked about so much on HHW, but it just never crossed my mind to check it out until about a two years ago when D.W. Moffett, one of my favorite current day actors, was going to guest star. After that one episode I was hooked.

I had always thought it was some kind of science fiction show! LOL!

Very sad, DR TCB. It is funny how the news anchors that have been around for such a long time have a way of almost seeming like people you know. Portland's Channel 8 has a few that have been around for as long as I can remember.

My flight Saturday from Washington National Airport had an unscheduled stop at Washington Dulles Airport.  About 20 minutes after takeoff a woman a few rows behind me started yelling for someone to help.  The man next to her was having some kind of seizure or something.  He was making grunting sounds and apparently had to be restrained.  The flight attendant asked if there was a doctor or nurse on board and two nurses went back to help.  A few minutes later a young military guy came to the back of the plane, where the incident occurred, and said he knew the man and would help.  The announcement was made telling the passengers that we were landing at Dulles for a medical emergency.   When we landed the medical personnel boarded and escorted the man off --he seemed to be calm by this time.  We didn't take off for another 30 minutes or more and ended up in Atlanta about 2 hours later than scheduled.  It was an interesting experience to say the least.  I felt sorry for the man- I was wondering if he had some kind of flashback or something (he was in the military too).

What a fun time, DR KevinH!

LOL about the Closer, MBarnum  I didn't start watching in the very beginning, but started about as soon as it was mentioned here.  I usually hate cop shows, but really liked this one

Also up for pre-order is a Punjabi movie I have been highly anticipating! JATT AND JULIET. The star of the film is one of my Facebook 'friends' and it has been fun seeing his excitement with this movie, his second film, which has become a huge hit.

If you are at all curious, here is the trailer. Even though there are no subtitles to this trailer I still laughed several times. And everyone is so pretty!

Speaking of AC (the man, not the machine), there are reports (with photos) that his boyfriend has been stepping out on him as he was snapped sucking face with another guy in Central Park.

Poor Anderson. If he was my boyfriend I would never cheat on him.

Am I the only one that thinks DR MBarnum could easily play the role of Anne in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC?

Is the pay good?

TCB - I see him more as a Petra or a Carl-Magnus. Really, could he really be the right type for virginal, pure Ann in NIGHT MUSIC?
Forgive me, but purity is not necessarily the first thing one would associate with the content of the various Bollywood postings and He-man photographic attachments and and what-not

We're just trying to build a Broadway career for you, MBarnum.  Why we're looking at female roles, i have no idea.

Hello.  I"m back from a quick trip to Atlanta.   I saw Miss Cathy Rigby and Mr. Brent Barrett in Peter Pan.  Let me say that Cathy Rigby is unbelievable--it's amazing how great she is in the role--and has a very pleasing singing voice.  And she's she'll be 60 years old in December!   Brent is really hilarious as Captain Hook and shows off his singing voice in "Captain Hook's Waltz."  The entire cast is terrific.

I'll bet you were surpised, Kevin, when you got to Atlanta nad found out that PETER PAN was playing in town.

Yes, TCB! I was going to see the Aquarium and the tall buildings.  And what are the chances?  The hotel I stayed in, the Georgian Terrace, was directly across the street from the Fox Theatre, where Peter Pan was being performed!

Wow!  Who knew?

I'm never confused by anything I don't understand.

Kidding around about all this, I saw that "news" item on Anderson Cooper's boyfriend also.  But wouldn't that just be plain stupid for him to kiss another guy in a public park?

Today was 85 with low humidity and will be in the 50s tonight.  Can't wait to sleep with the window open.  Yeah!

I think it was 89 or 90 today and smoky, more so than yesterday.
