And speaking of MEDIC, have any DRs here ever seen this 1950s tv series (stars Richard Boone)? It is quite fascinating and very realistic. It is the only tv show from the 50s that I have ever seen that allowed the characters to use the words like "breast" or "sperm." Some very grim and adult subject manner in the episodes I have seen.

Quite a good show and it can be found very inexpensively at bargain stores or on Netflix.

Hi dear DR Mike.....I was hooked on the show "Medic" when I was young, and I instantly learned how to play the theme song "Blue Star" and played it alot.....I thought I was being very "symphonic."  But it is still a pretty good early TV theme.

bk, brought my car in for maintenance this morning also.  Must be a California thing.  I declined the loner car as the Honda dealership is just a jaunt away.  If for some reason they have to keep it, I'll take the loner.

TOD -

iPod - Andrew Lloyd Webber playlist as I do taxes
CD in car - live recording of Sunset Blvd. with Debra Byrne and Hugh Jackman

That's all.

I love the Rhode Island return.  If you get a refund, there's a little smiley-face.  If you owe money, there's a little frowny-face.

Because taxes, pardon the expression, spread money around like manure...

Or something like that.

'Morning all!

Just thought I'd stop by and say hello before I start trying to get some things accomplished for the day.

Oh!  And if you guys can spare them -- I have two, count 'em two, auditions this weekend, so if you could spare some good audition vibes, they'd be much appreciated!  Tomorrow, there is an open call for "future replacements" for the cast of Spring Awakening, currently running in the Big Apple...and then on Sunday, there is an audition for a production of Cabaret out here (auditions on Holocaust Remembrance Day, no less...).  So, any vibes you've got, I'll take 'em!

I actually really enjoyed the UGLY BETTY clips show.  It wasn't so much that you needed help to follow the season. It was just interesting to see some of the funny things that happened. And i really enjoyed the commentary.

I have finished proofing - interestingly, I had been smoothing out and fixing the final thirty pages SO much while writing them, that I found almost no typos or fixes.

Rehearsal location has been moved back to Madelyn Clark, and time has been pushed to 12:30.

Why does DR Cason keep auditioning for shows where the actors remove their clothing?

Been there, done that.  We had to do a "celebrity observation" my first semester at LACC and since our teacher told us we had to do singers, I chose Liza doing the "Mein Herr" number from Cabaret.  It was pretty spectacular, I'm not gonna lie.
