Friday morning greetings!  We have a very quiet holiday ahead, unlike Labor Day weekend last year when we were in NYC.

DS Rob just called to tell us that he arrived safely at Mary Linda's at 1:30 this morning and the two of them are now "on the road again" to meet her family in the Upper Peninsula.

DR Matth, maybe if you have time on your hands this weekend you might watch DOSTI: FRIENDS FOREVER. If you are in the mood for eye candy and just pure, mindless entertainment, you will enjoy this film.

Here is a sample to tempt you further: The bonding of the two hunky male leads:

DR Cillaliz, that is funny that you liked GREY GARDENS more than you thought you would. I saw it 2 nights ago and liked it less than i thought i would.

Maybe it's because i had jsut watched CHANGELING which i really liked.

I thought that the performances in GG were very good. And it was okay. I just didn't love it.

I'm up.  Was hoping to sleep a little longer, but just enough noise next door to preclude me from doing so.

I shall give the new version of Melrose Place a try. I was very addicted to the old show.

I am really looking forward to the return of SOUTHLAND and THE OFFICE.

To All HAINSIES and KIMLETS-

I and My Wife will be leaving Tonight for a Two Week Vacation To Eastern Europe. We are going on a Blue Danube River Cruse(Which I now hear is Brown)

We spend two days in Budapest(Hungary) and then go on The AMA Waterways ship AMALYRA and see the following cities

Bratislavia-Slovakia
Vienna-Austria
Durnstein-Austria
Melk-Austria
Linz(Salzburg)-Austria
Passau-Germany
Regensburg-Germany
Nurenberg-Germany

and 3 Days in Prague-Czech Republic

I will take loads of pictures and will report(Not as Well as Jose and Monkey) the Gastronomic Delights that we encounter and Eat

We will be back on September 17th

For Obvious reasons there will be No Song of the Day during our Vacation.
But I will be back shiny and refreshed in Two Weeks .

Meanwhile-The Song of Two Weeks is(of course) THE BLUE DANUBE WALTZ

Your invitation for me to go as your guest must have gotten lost in the mail!

Have a great and safe trip, and come back with lots of gossip and photos.

I am back from a wonderful meeting with the mighty Rob Berman. I have a new script and score and a contact list! What am I bid for Cheyenne Jackson's address? ;)

Of course one of the WEE players - who plays Officer Brophy forgot to bring out his blackjack, so he had nothing to hit me with when I was strangling Officer Klein......I guess I just collapsed from the effort.

The image of you collapsing from exhaustion cracked me up.

I'm glad overall the show went well & the audience enjoyed it. :)

I had the closest to normal night of sleep I've had in six weeks. Very encouraging. My arm hurt less and the cramping in my right hand was less severe than it's been. It might have happened the day AFTER my birthday, but it was still a wonderful birthday gift from "on high."

This is great-vibes tonight is even better!

Glad to read he made it safely.  We went to the UP once, it was foggy most of the time & we could hardly see the painted rocks, which I'm told are beautiful.
