And happy page 10 dance to one and all!!!

The salmon showed up three days ago - two weeks early. Always takes my breath away to watch them hoist their massive meat up the stream...

I'm exhausted and have to be up early because she of the Evil Eye will be here at nine.  I'll jog, do some errands and then meet Cason here at noon.

My eyes ahve been bothering me a lot lately, I keep getting headaches.  Tonight I finally I went to the eye doctor for an chceckup - I explained about my recent radiation treatment and my theory that as it had taken some of my hearing I suspected it had worsened my eyesight as well-

"Not so" said the optomertrist. " your eyes have actually gotten better due to the radiation treatment!"

The problem is that my current prescription is now too strong!

The shop was closing so I didnlt have time to shop fpr a new pair of glasses but I will look over the  weekend .  I am also toying with the idea of contacts-- the Dr gave me a sample set to wear home and I quite liked them - the only problem being that although I can see perfectly well at a distance with the contacts I couldn't read unless I held  the paper at an arm's length f- so I would require reading glasses if I wear comtacts -

That's sort of good news!  I work with a couple of people who had the lasik eye surgery and one who had the radial keratotomy and all three had to have reading glasses after the surgery!  So, I don't think that it's that unusual. :-\

TOPIC OF THE DAY:

On my DVD burner:  the "director's cut" of the pilot episode of "Glee" for DRs Ron and Jane.  Anyone else want a DVD copy?

In my DVR (or at least programmed to be recorded):  tonight's PSYCH and "Larry King Live" with guest Kathy Griffin!

I would like one George, if possible.

More than possible! ;D
