Later I went to see Brigadoon.  What a wonderful production!  Everyone was fantastic and I was particularly impressed by Ross Lekites, who played Charlie Dalrymple.  What a voice!

Ginny are you  hosting Thanksgiving?

No, we’re going to my niece Laura’s in Illinois.  She and her mom (my sister) are cooking.

And thanks for the vibes!

Foot vibes for DR Ginny!

Thanks, DR KevinH!  All in all, I’d rather be in NYC with you...

Well, it's time for me to leave work and go to my sister's for a bit.  She wants me to help move a table from her garage into her house, and a little coffee table from her house into her garage.  Then, I'll go home.

Be back later.

DR John are you pleased with the surgery date?

No. It seems like a long time off, but it was the first date available. I guess I can enjoy the holidays.

Ginny, how is your nose today?

My nose is pretty quiet today, DR John G, but we've just come from 2 hours in the ER after a 4-pound hand weight fell from the bookshelf I was dusting.  It smacked the top of my left foot and I yelled until Richard and Rob came running.  We watched it swell and discolor and decided it should be x-rayed.  Fortunately, nothing's broken, but I won't be tap-dancing anytime soon.

Ouch. I could feel that just reading your description. Vibes for a quick recovery.

I'm watching a strange Polish cannibal mermaid musical called The Lure. It's really quite a bit of fun in a perverse sort of way.

I sent the scans of the two orchestra scores to the London conductor Martin Yates when I returned from City Center.  When Annabelle and I came in, I got this email from him:
You've done a great job and so quickly. It's funny, because  we are all so used to looking at sibelius scores, seeing your handwriting made me feel rather nostalgic.... you see the work that went into the scores and you don't see that with sibelius....

My nephew is getting to play the Sibelius Fifth at his next concert. Also on the bill are some holiday selections, I guess, from Humperdink's Hansel und Gretel.

Ginny, Ginny, Ginny. Sigh.

Housework is dangerous, DR Laura!

That's one reason why I don't do it.

(A treat for me, too.)

It was a bloody marvel. It also takes a bit of strong stomach at times.

Is this the film that was just released by Criterion?  I guess it’s time for me to wake up and get interested.

Yes. It came in at the library. Very strange. Very, very strange.

Unboxed about five boxes and thankfully have all the Indiegogo perks now, so we'll get all that organized.  I really need the helper's husband to come and secure the shelving in the garage - there's too many damn boxes there and I need to get all that stuff out so we can actually find things.
