Sorry all but have say how sick I am about hearing about how the hurricane might affect the stupid RNC.  Yada, yada, yada.  Oy!

I bought some extra water and batteries today.  I have some canned meat, lots of dog food, canned fuel, a fresh loaf of bread, peanut butter, etc so I think the dogs and I are in pretty good shape should it hit.  We are on a Tropical Storm Watch right now which means conditions could change in the next 24 to 48 hours. 

Right now it's just "wait and see".

In other news...

I shall be heading out for a late dinner with my friend, Jeff, whom I haven't seen in over a year. He called to ask what I was up to this weekend, and, well... So he's going to take me out for an early birthday dinner. :)

And then we'll head over to Brandy's Piano Bar to bring in my 44th year with some showtunes. And alcoholic beverages. ::)

We are back from the deaconing service at Rob and Mary Linda's church.  There was a nice meal of assorted pasta salads, sandwiches, crudites, and cake afterwards.

Back from a long but fun vocal session.  We did eleven songs today, one of which will definitely not be on the album.  We had the delightful Euan Morton doing a duet today - and I immediately cast him in an Outside the Box episode.  After we wrapped, we all went the Genghis Cohen for a wonderful meal.
