And that is not a euphemism.

I had a euphemism once, it kept me off my feet for a week!

DC (Dear Cat) Freddy seems to have run away from home, or gotten himself trapped again in a neighbors garage...I have not seen hide nor hair of the little critter since Monday morning.

That darn cat!  >:(

Peter Filichia's column in TheatreMania today is funny. JR, there is even a reference to Annette Fullajello (that's what we called her back in the day, not out of disrespect but because we thought it was funny)

When the door bites, when the bee stings...

That's what I used to think Julie sang on the "Sound of Music" movie soundtrack. :)

What a joy to see someone spell "p-e-e-k" correctly when used to describe someone taking a quick look at something.  I can't tell you how many times I see "p-e-a-k" (top of a mountain!!!) used instead.

BK, I have to do some self-promotion on "The Brain," so when do we get a postcard to send out making our friends come and our enemies jealous?

And boy do we have some enemies, some directly in the NYMF organization.  :)

I'm supposed to see the post card prototype shortly, then they'll go print and we'll get you a bunch.

Back from another fun rehearsal - did musical numbers and book scenes.  I'm finding it easier to just stage anew rather than recreate to the letter the LA staging.  We have the video there for reference, but frequently I'll see one of the new actors do something interesting, and then I'll just start to build on that, and then we'll find better stuff.

The only thing that's really difficult right now are the General's scenes - in LA we had a rolling platform with stairs for him and it was a wonderful unit and visual on which I could be really clever with staging.  Here we have nothing, and I'm trying to wipe out of my head the image of the unit so I can find something clever to do with these scenes other than just have them all standing there.  So far I haven't found it but I'm talking to my set designer momentarily to brainstorm ideas.

Funny you should mention that, since Minx LOVED to eat popcorn with me; Dixie Bell could care less about popcorn!  (Of course, one of Dixie's daily treats is a salt-free rice cake).

Miss Vickie would "pretend" to eat popcorn just because Dickens was into it.  But all she'd do is get cat spit all over it.

Soggy popcorn on my carpet.  Ugh.  Yet, better than a hairball or worse.

Glad there's another HOT FUZZ Fan out there! Dear BK, no Q's, just keep up the good work, get plenty of rest and exercise, eat vegetables, and St Malachy's is on 49th. He's the patron saint of actors so if you find some performances aren't what you'd like, you can send the actors there for prayer breaks. Enjoy the big Apple.

Michael Vick's pit bulls would have made short work of that Boxer rebellion.

I'm probably going to go out and get something light to eat - all I've had all day is a chicken salad sandwich.

Well, if he actually did run away from home, perhaps you need a plain old Tom cat to replace him!
