JRAND::::
Jack, Yes it was me looking for "Jeanne Eagels." It was me! I was yelling back at the computer. Couldn't you hear me?!!!?!?!
The first kiss I wanted occurred when I was 15. I wasn't a late bloomer. Oh sure, there make-out sessions with boys and girls pairing off, but that does NOT count. His name was John-- he was an older man of 16(always did like old men--but they seem to happen so much younger these days!) This was a violins playing, fireworks exploding, movie heaven kiss. Of course it led to much more than that. ^ months later my heart was broken. But what bliss (for the most part) in between. First other kiss was kindergarten witha girl named Katherine-- who we all callled KC.
All this talk of beauty and being wanted--guys go through the same thing. I copied something I had read last year. Barbara Cook was giving a master class, and she so wisely pointed out the following:
"...As Ms. Cook, 74, put it in one of several pithy epiphanies in the course of the class: "It's so hard to believe that what the world wants is us. It's hard to believe, whatever you're doing, that you're enough. We are all, always, enough."
