bk - After you open Safari 4... Click on "Help". I'm sure you'll find you answers there.

*As for "Top Sites", when you have the "grid" in your browser, just click on "Edit" in the lower left-hand corner. You can then "Pin" the sites you want to keep there, or "X" them out.

Most of the new features are "hidden". They mainly affect how you want and can display your browsing history and bookmarks.

Is opening Safari 4 any different than opening Safari 3? As to "help" - no thanks. I did figure out how to get the top sites viewable, but if they can't just make the new features there for all to see, then I don't need them.

Safari 4 is just an update to Safari 3. It opens the same way as it always has.

However, if your tool bar is grayed out, it sounds like you may need to re-download and re-install it again.
