I need to find time in my schedule to see Little Mermaid and I need to see Les Miz again so I can see John Owen Jones. He's playing JVJ.

JVJ bought a JVC
Down at Best Buys, USA.
When he got home, what did he see?
The film, TEAM AMERICA
On DVD!

I was just nosing around the ABE, the book dealer site.  I decided to see what my first edition of Anyone Can Whistle in like condition (pretty much minty fresh) is going for.  There's only one copy in like condition and it's going for $1750 (not that anyone would ever buy it for that much money) - it's a review copy, which does bring a premium.  I wonder then what this dealer would charge for my inscribed by Sondheim copy?

There are cheaper copies but none cheaper than around four hundred bucks and not in good condition.

Th cats are baffled by the treadmill. They both sit and stare at me the whole time I'm on it. It really makes me laugh. Then the purr when I get off of it.

Maybe that's their way of saying "Atta girl!!"

I'm going to catch THE CLOSER later since it's conflicting with LIFE, I do believe.

It conflicts with MY life too, Lar, but I deal with it!

There go our ratings!   ;)

Think I'll go back to reading Lincoln's Melancholy.  It's very interesting but is one of those books that tends to make me sleepy....so maybe I'll also nap

Is Lincoln's Melancholy a sentence?

I'm jealous! I want to see it again.  I'm back to the bass part now.

Elmore's working on bass while Cilla's cooking tilapia. Something's fishy 'round these here parts!

Looking forward to Julie's opening night report on Cymbeline.  I hear this Shakespeare fellow has a real future.

I believe Curtis Moore (the aformentioned composer of FOR THE LOVE OF TIFFANY) was involved with the music for CYMBELINE.

From Ginny:
Click on Quote in a message where someone has done it and copy and paste the code onto a Word document, or as I've done on my Mac, onto a Stickie.  When you want to do something similar, just copy and paste the code you've saved, and replace the URL with the one you want to link to.  Between the bracketed b & /b put in the words you want to appear in your message.

Thank you, DR Jane. Hope this works ...

A puzzling puzzle for DR Danise to solve. Hope this helps with your question about  Eat n Park.

Yes, he is, and I hope the reviews are wonderful for this enchanting and heartbreaking production.

LATIMES

Quote
Ohio State to play LSU for national title

Ohio State and Louisiana State will play for the Bowl Championship Series national title on Jan. 7 in the Louisiana Superdome, while Hawaii qualified for an at-large spot in a BCS game.

Ohio State finished No. 1 in the final BCS standings that will be released later today, according to a source, and LSU jumped all the way from No. 7 to No. 2 to seize the second spot.

Also, as expected, USC will face Illinois in the Rose Bowl.

JG Autographs has a wonderful 8X10 glossy with Marilyn Monroe, Jane Russell, George "Foghorn" Winslow (who I have always thought looks a lot like our own DR Ron).  The photo is signed by Miss Russell and Mr. Winslow.  I am assuming that the other man in the photo is Howard Hawks, but I am not sure.  Still, a lovely photo with Mr. Winslow sitting on Marilyn's lap.

I am now ready for a nap, but instead I think I will watch some of those 56 Jack Benny episodes I recently got on DVDr...seeing those clips that BK posted made me remember them sitting on my bookshelf.

It conflicts with MY life too, Lar, but I deal with it!

There go our ratings!   ;)

There is no LIFE conflict! (LIFE at 10 Closer 8-10)

The conflict is with CHUCK - HEROES and also Part Two of THE TIN MAN.

der Brucer

And because TNT re-runs the episode later in the evening and again on Tuesday, fans can easily avoid watching the Monday 8-10 broadcast. (Wonder how the ratings folks factor this in)
