On the archeological front, I discovered an unopened tin of Irish steel-cut oatmeal in our pantry. The "sell by" date is in 2013.

Did I ever tell my tale of the Sucrets tin in my bathroom cabinet?

Well, you don’t want to hear it.

Last summer, I found a can of chili in my small pantry that had a best buy date of 2003!  I moved here in 2006! :o

Here’s a nice kitty. Regal.

https://m.hindustantimes.com/it-s-viral/images-of-gorgeous-black-jaguar-named-neron-will-make-you-go-wow-seen-them-yet/story-bcFb4QlWDeIwTNz5LEGH1K.html

Wow! He's beautiful. And huge!

He reminds me of one of my most precious memories. When I was living in Florida, we had a wildlife rehabilitation center in the area. They took in the exotics that the rich would buy and then not know what to do with, such as leopards, large monkeys, you name it. They had a black panther who had a baby, and in the hopes of getting some positive press, they brought the baby to the newspaper office. I got to cuddle the baby. Oh, what a joy. He was an armful, I'll admit, but holding him was indescribable bliss. Somewhere I have a photo of him in my arms. I've looked for that photo, but it's in a folder with other treasured photos and it's filed somewhere where I won't lose it. Right.

That's amazing!

Back from a quick and fun rehearsal - kept blocking very simple because we're shooting it for film, not stage, so I wanted all the set-ups to be simple and easy.  It's short and sweet and I don't want to over rehearse the actors, so we have one more on Tuesday, and then we shoot the following week.

Sounds cool.

I just read that Americans consume 15 billion quarts of popcorn per year (which works out to 45 quarts per person).

Keith consumes a lot of pop corn though far less than he used to.

I keep forgetting that I have a box of bags of popcorn that I got from Costco.  They're kind of past their best-by date, but they're still edible.  I think I'll have one right now. :)

Last night at the grocery, I noticed they had pheasants next to the turkeys. The price was decent, for pheasant, I guess. So, I bought one. It will be dinner Thursday. I haven't figured out how to fix it yet. Auditioning recipes.

Before cooking, cover it with, at least one quart of Ethenol.  It is the only way to prepare pheasant under gas.

Besides, no one should be traveling this year for the holiday.

I will say Christa Ludwig is amazing.

The only thing that I've really seen/heard her in is the video and recording of Bernstein's Candide.  I thought she was great as the Old Lady.

They just said on the news that waiting times in drive-thru restaurants Lines have increased since CoVid-19.   Duh! If you can’t sit down and eat in restaurants, naturally you will have to go through the drive-in lanes, instead.

DR John congratulations to San Antonio.

"As of January 1, 2021, pet stores in San Antonio will be able to sell cats and dogs only obtained from shelters, animal rescue groups, or animal control agencies."

Nice.

Very nice!

There was the report that Grand opening of Colorado In-N-Out burger sparks traffic jams, parking lot brawls and 14-hour wait times!

Somebody else is eating my ten gallons of popcorn, or whatever it was.  I don’t touch the stuff.

Well, the best-by date on the popcorn is was June 26, 2019. :o

Tonight I watched the first half (+) of FUNNY GIRL from 2018. It stars Sheridan Smith as Fanny in the British stage version.  Darius Campbell plays a very good looking Nick.

It is interesting to see a production of the stage musical.  I am enjoying it.

I've only seen one local production and enjoyed it.
