Larry, I'm totally confused by her reaction to the $7900. Doesn't that mean that not only are you not ahead, but actually that you've been at a disadvantage dating back ten years, and that's money that could have come in handy and made your life easier years ago - maybe I'm not phrasing this right, but I think her logic is absurd.
DR FJL, this is not Lady M, it's my brother her husband that clearly nurses a grudge over who's entitled to more. If you recall, back in July he told me I deserved no inheritance because I never had to work for it. He thinks my father's company, which he and Randy now own, is the source of everything. Since I live in New York, with no sweat and blood or ownership in the family biz- which I actually worked for in 1978-79 before moving to NYC - I am therefore by his logic not entitled to any of my father's estate. I can fight reason but I cannot fight assholism.
Macbeth has told Jo Ann that the company has paid for years for my airline tickets to Ohio and other delightful things, and I've already got my just desserts. Frankly, I don't know whether or not my parents paid for my plane tickets once every two or so years with money from the company or their own bank account, but if Macbeth will provide proof in receipts, I will reimburse the comopany to piss the jerk off. I do know that all four roundtrip tickets last year and the trips for the past five years were bought by me, although my dad one year in a fit of loneliness offered to buy my ticket if I came home to see him several timesin the past twelve years after my mother's death. Aaccording to family gossip, the family business paid for Macbeth's first divorce which was really really expensive, paid for an abortion of Macbeth's girfriend, bought off his second wife, paid for his swimming pool and put his daughters through college.
