A production I would most like to forget.  Except for a few of the leads, who were wonderful.  But it was Hell, otherwise.

Well, we have been taken out of the tornado watch early.  That's nice.  Lots and lots more rain tonight.  We've gone from having one of the driest year on record to one of the wettest years on record.  Lots of flooding etc. 

I keep seeing those flooding pictures in Iowa, and I worry about you and your neighbors.

I liked seeing all the old photos. My father was a professional photographer so I have loads of photographs. This was taken at Christmas 1952 with family and friends watching 9.5mm films. I'm at the front and my sister is to the left. My older brother is high up at right.

You'll note that I am properly attired in jacket and tie, as people were in those days, even when at home on holiday.

THE GETAWAY appears to have a commentary track hosted by Nick Redman, which is always a wonderful discovery.

In this case, it's a "discovery" because the damned disc menus are in KOREAN.  I kid you not.  

The disc came from Walmart.  But they've been coming from Amazon that way, too.  Outer case, totally normal.  Disc label, totally normal.  The film and features all play the way we like them to play, but the danged menus are in Korean, so it's trial and error to find anything.

Watching something pretty amazing, about which more in the notes.  It will be really hard to go a day without posting - it's the only downside of doing the switch but let's all reconvene as soon as possible and welcome in the new board with a huge number of postings.

It is going to be terrible tomorrow.  But thank you, Bruce, for doing this for us.

Friday night is our annual Womens dinner  with the entertainment provided by the Youth (meaning 6th - 12th graders)

This year they needed more talent so the Vixter was tapped to help out

She is opening the show with Magic to Do  and I singing Billy Joel's  And So it Goes... I understand she has some other busness throughout the show as well but I am not privy to it

So I wont; be around much on Friday

I wonder what everyone will be doing tomorrow.  Everyone except BK, that is.

Working, and then the beginning of the second weekend of "Cinder Edna."  Of course, after any break, shows can be a little off...but I'm going to have an especially interesting show because I'm going to switch the microphones and give everyone new numbers in the hopes that it'll help resolve the problems that they've been having.  I can only hope that it'll help!

Matthew, the new version of the site just started to migrate this evening - you won't see the new radio show until the migration happens for you - it's going to be different for everyone, time-wise - but starting tomorrow afternoon, refresh your browsers and clear your cache because that's when it will start to hit for some people.

Mine haven't either, and I started going gray when I was in my twenties.  Some scientists say that it can be a forewarning to diabetes.

Maybe you call them all tomorrow and switch the dinner to tomorrow night.  That way you won't notice that we have no HHW.
