OH!

Attention All NYC-Bound Hainsies and Kimlets - and those who are already Bound to NYC...

Is there anyone who would like to go on another HHW Walking And Eating And Walking And Eating Tour next week?  Right now, my Thursday and Friday days are open, as well as Sunday (although, I suspect I'm going to get called in to play ACL that afternoon).

I'm thinking of just a "simple" walk through the Park - featuring the Reservoir.  And, of course, the sojourn will either commence or end with a stop at Levain.  :)

Any takers?  You can just PM or e-mail me.

*I'd also be more than happy to print out a "Best Of/Must See/Must Eat Guide" for anyone who would like to venture out on their own.

DR Jose, you mean you look at them and decide if they are the right type for the role?

Exactly!

DR MBarnum:

Doesn't your Tivo have an option to save shows unless you manually delete them? My DVR certainly does. I still have the Winter Olympics ladies short and long programs on mine from February 2006. I keep meaning to dub the performances I want to a DVD, but I never seem to get around to it.

Another thing to look for with shows that are recorded with Season Pass:  there is a setting that tells the Tivo unit how many episodes to keep of a given show.  I don't know off the top of my head what the default is, but I know that it can be turned off so that all recorded epsodes will remain until you decide to manually delete them.

Hooray for Miss Karen! Now you can stay here ALL DAY and play! School was cutting into your online time, as far as I am concerned.

Why don't they "type" first thing every audition? Cut out the people you aren't going to hire anyway. Save everyone's time.

As a teacher, one had to keep his teaching credential updated by taking courses (six hours worth) every five years. (Other states have different requirements than SC.)

I DESPISED being a student with assignments, papers, tests, etc. after having done that my entire life. The learning was great; never minded that and in fact reveled in it, and I was always SO thankful for professors who gave us a syllabus, a list of requrements, and we mostly worked on our own until the things were due. I was definitely a self-motivating student as a middle adged adult.

Capital idea! And after the heat wave (or as they say come Fall -- I don't do Phoenix in the summer unless it's only to catch a plane) I'll head down the hill for brunch some morning...I want to be there when DR MusicGuy stands up and yells "Underpants!" in an eatery ...

Congrats Miss Karen!

Thanks! Now I get to start working on my fall semester practicum -- I'm the asst. director for Suburb, that new musical, that will open at our theatre this September -- but no rest for the weary -- I have a meeting with the choreographer this afternoon.  But I enjoy the right brain stuff -- especially after this left-brain semester!

And speaking of meetings, got to go get ready for our post-mortem meeting for the Children's Theatre Workshop we had two weeks ago -- and then the theatre's marketing committee meeting -- Theatre Meetings Day!
