I think I am having a frenzy.

I will now leave to pick up my NY photos and CD disc from Walmart, with a stop at Best Buy to survey the new releases (including the purchasing of a couple of Val Lewton films.)

Oh, I forgot...tonight I see BEA ARTHUR at the Elsinore Theater with Mark and James and James' mom who is visiting from Nevada.

What are Mark and James (and James' mom) doing in a show with Bea Arthur?

Back and surprised to see we have NOT achieved our new thrilling plateau.  Where in tarnation IS everyone?  We don't want to hear errant and truant excuses when we're having a major landmark.  Everyone needs to get their complacent butt cheeks back here for the turning of the number.

Great photos!  Carnegie Hall!

Last night I watched a 1972 movie I had never seen.  It was called Wrath of God - Robert Mitchum, Rita Hayworth, Frank Langella, Victor Buono - directed by Ralph Nelson.  It may have been mentioned here before.

I started watching after it had been on for about an hour or so, so I am not sure how it all started, but it was VERY good.  I seem to remember it when it was on at the drive-in and wondering why ANYBODY would want to pay to see a movie with Mitchum and Hayworth in 1972.

Not available on VHS, too bad.  Has any other DR seen this movie?  What happens at the beginning....why is Robert Mitchum pretending to be a priest.

There is a Scottish or English actor in it also named Ken Hutchison who is VERY good, but he seems to have worked mostly in England, maybe DR CP knows him.

I recommend THE WRATH OF GOD - made in Mexico, Rita's last film, and a lot of fun.  The print seemed to be fairly pristine with rich dark colors and no splices, jumps, or  flecks.

Don't forget those photos of you in the black briefs.

Oh!...  I've been to come by to check the tapes from the surveillance camera we placed in the bathroom and bedroom...  That night vision feature better have been worth the extra fifty bucks!

Good Afternoon!

Greetings from the Apple Store in SoHo - otherwise known as the unofficial logging in place for Hainsies and Kimlets while staying in New York City.

It is indeed a not too nice day weather-wise, but I have a good umbrella, and I managed to be inside during the past two major downpours.

I just treated myself to a nice chocolate break at Marie-Belle around the corner.  I order a cup of their amazingly rich Aztec Hot Cocoa as well as a plate of their signature cookies - and I have to say my server was quite generous with the cookies.  -There were 10 on the plate - usually there are only 6.  I actually ended up with one of everything today.  :)

A friend's 50th???  And what about our hainsies/kimlets 150,000th?  Is that chopped liver or borscht or stuffed grape leaves.

I'm tirrrred.  I'm watching Alfred Hitchcock's Lifeboat.  Did you all know that Alfred Hitchcock had a lifeboat?  He did, and I'm watching it.

Before hitting the Cocao Bar in Marie-Belle, I spent a good amount of time in the Sale Tent at Broadway Panhandler.  WOW!  Now that's what I call a sale!  There were some clearance items - discontinued stock, old models, etc., but most of the sale items were overstocks.  And on one side of the tent there were boxes and boxes of Le Creuset, and on the other side there were boxes of All-Clad - along with representatives from each company.  Thankfully, I was not in need of any new cookware.  Instead, I stocked up on a bunch of little items.  I even got a nice mandoline slicer - one of the nice OXO ones.

And since most of what I bought was at least 40-50% off, I managed to "double" the gift certificate I was given the other day!

Once again, Thank You to those DRs who joined me on my trek across Manhattan the other day.  *I shall take a pic of all my loot once I'm back at the apartment.

**And I have a feeling I may head back to the sale tent again sometime in the next two days.  There really are some incredible deals to be had there.  Fellow New Yorkers, you've been "warned".  -The sale ends Monday.

I'm thinking HainesHisWay.com may be in need of an official technology and computer sponsor.

I've caught up! It's the season for such things and I forgot to have my immunization booster.

We are about to leave for Victoria's Spa country. Not to be confused with Spore country.

Hi all.  I'm at the airportl.

It was raining so hard that I simply took soaked self back to the hotel and waited to leave at about three o'clock.

I look like a drown rat.  I was able to dry my hair by going into a ladys bathroom and using the dryer you use for your hands for my hair.  Wish I could do the same for my jeans/socks/shoes.  They all all wet as can be.  I just hope I don't catch a good(or a bad) cold from it.

Jane may not have told you but we saw the naked cowboy AND is wife/girlfriend with the pasties on.  If I had known it was such a rare sighting, I would have taken a picture.

I am sorry Danise, but I am afraid we MAY just have to remove the blame for all things from Jose and pass it on to you...

Since you were in NYC...

1. Lady hit on the head with a light  in the theatre where you were attending

2. Escalators break down in American Girl Store  while you are visiting

3. Lady hit by a bus in front of us

4. Cillaliz hit by a bike messenger while she & Jane were on the phone with you & me

5. Lady falls down in the street next to you while you are walking to theatre

6. Penn Station closed for suspicous soda can while you are there...

The heck with the terrorists.... look out for Danise!!!

 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

You know I love you sweetie!!!! :-* :-* :-*

Hey, I just make life exciting for those around me.    8) :-*  You may now return to your normal scheduled lives.

What are Mark and James (and James' mom) doing in a show with Bea Arthur?

Well, I believe is playing Bea Arthur at age 20, and James is playing Bea Arthur at age 30.  James' mom is, of course, playing Bea Arthur's father.
