I brought home the MP3 of one of the sound effects to try and make it louder. I did, but I couldn't make it as loud as I think it needs to be because it would get distorted. So, it'll have to do.
Can you recreate it, and replace the one you have now?
I am very happy to hear that Viva Max! went well last night.
Around 6:30, Thatch decided to follow Annabelle's example and climb up onto my night stand. Unlike Annabelle's graceful maneuvering, he knocked over my water glass. That woke me up.
Congrats to DR FJL & Co. and thanks to DR VIXMOM and DR KEVINH for the VIVA MAX! reports.

Yes indeed. I would like to have joined the par-tay, but that wasn’t in the cards for yesterday. Best of luck with it going forward, DR FJL.
As well as Congrats to Fred on the successful reading!

It is so cold here in Austin.
I just saw a guy's ass freeze off.
It's lying in the middle of the street.
::)
The elevator was indeed removed from service yesterday....
Sadly, nothing in Viva Max! that seems right for George :( though other shows of ours have stuff that would look good for him in his new svelte splendor. :)how about the governor?

Eureka! I was so thinking that as one of TCB's parts that George at first didn't occur to me. And George might be good combining that with The Rude Waiter at Cafe Roberto's (which Neal somehow took to a whole show in itself, I thought).
While the downstairs is not raked at all.
At my advanced age, I don't enjoy the staircase going up (and also going down) there and found the seats as small as 2010's Broadway seats. And of course downstairs seats have "prestige" while upstairs does not, as our agent reminds us -
LOL, vixmom! Just saw this post by you from the other day while ketching up:
"have no trouble with sitting upstairs but I insist on being carried up the stairs....
On a litter...
Preferably hoisted by 4 buff, shirtless, young men"
Sorry, vixmom! we asked for the shirtless young men but the absence of shirts didn't fit the strict costume budget!

How are you, Jeanne?

I had an appointment today for an eye exam with someone who's been in the area a long time and has a good reputation. I have wonky eyes and need an optometrist who understands that. But when it came time to see the doctor I learned that they'd booked me with an associate. As it happened, I liked the associate and the exam went fine. But I do find it off-putting. I feel they should at least tell you they're booking you with someone else. Sigh. Sloppy business, IMO, and disrespectful to the patient.

Do y'all want to know what I had for lunch? Veggie burger and sweet potato fries. No photo.
Alert former DR Ben, I've been having oatmeal for the past two days.

Very good. I hope you don't have to drive to far or will he be driven to you?

Watching It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.
Love that movie! ;D
My friend, Sharry, and I celebrated her birthday today.
Actually, her birthday is actually December 27, but when you have been alive as many centuries as she has, you stretch the party out as long as you can.
For all you cold people, just be glad you do not live in these areas in Russia.
Temperatures in the remote, diamond-rich Russian region of Yakutia on Tuesday plunged to minus 67 degrees Celsius (minus 88.6 degrees Fahrenheit) in some areas.
In Yakutia — about 3,300 miles east of Moscow — where students routinely go to school in minus 40 degrees, school was canceled throughout the region. Local police also ordered parents to keep their children at home.
Over the weekend, two men froze to death when they tried to walk to a nearby farm after their car broke down. Three other men who were with them survived because they were wearing warmer clothes, local investigators reported on Monday.

And now, I must be off to the theater. I don't doubt that it'll go quite well tonight.
Be back later.
