This JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL is new to me, and I look forward to it.

That is one great mother lode o' Hitch.  I have little doubt that a father lode will come along one of these days, to take its rightful place alongside the mother.

I treasure my few Hitchcock posters and lobby cards, bought at Larry Edmund's in the early 1970s for a pittance.

Ah, how I miss the days when, if you had a few pittances in your pocket, you could buy something nice.

MR BK.....I have read that Alma Hitchcock did a lot of work with the Mister.....do you think that perhaps some of those typewritten pages are from the Smith Corona of Mrs. H?

I was up early this morning to finish reading Philipp Meyer's AMERICAN RUST, a novel set in a SW Pennsylvania steel town that makes Middletown, OH, look like a thriving metropolis.  This book was recommended by one of our book group members and is our topic of discussion tomorrow evening.

Foiled!  I just tried to attach a small (139K) image to a post, and it says the upload folder is full.

When the uploader is full no picture, no matter the size, can be attached. I know there is some account at Photobucket which has been used by people to post pictures but I don't know anything about the account information. George can probably fill you in on how to use it.

How about posting a link to any old website?  I can put them on my account page at Comcast.

Ditto. Pity the pittance.

Ah, Larry Edmund's Bookstore...I have bought from them since the early 80s...I still stop in whenever I am in Hollywood.

This being Mother Lode of Hitchcock Day in the HHW, I will contribute a few small things if these links will cooperate.

Here is the great man's autograph on my one lobby card from "Rear Window", quickly scrawled at the world premiere of "Family Plot" at the Plitt in Century City.

Isn't this a lovely picture! It is of my neighbor and his wife at their wedding reception from a few months back.

They look like they should be in a magazine.

Indeed.  DR MBarnum, is that an example of using the Photobucket account, and can you share instructions for doing so?

I won my first ebook today. It's funny because before I had a kindle I kept seeing so many giveaways for ebooks. And now that i have one I don't see any.

The ebook is one i've been wanting to read. Starters by Lissa Price.

Thank you, DR Jrand61.  I found that "img" thing as a shortcut in the editor, underneath the italic I, but didn't think it through further.  Will try another one momentarily.
