arrived (in much less time than those familiar with prevailing speed limits might have imagined)  to find Mom  lying in a pool of blood - and thank fully with their neighbor's husband holding a towel to her head and keeping here calm  while the wife stood out front to direct the ambulance crew (who arrived moments after I did)

thankfully no seizure this time - just a slip and fall but she cracked her head against the handle of the fridge on her way down and it left a dent in her head which they sutured with staples

I'm heading home.  It's a bit early to go to the theater to begin the last weekend of "Good Night Moon," so I'm just going to take a little nap.  I had to get to work early for a meeting this morning, so I really didn't get a lot of sleep...which isn't unusual, but it was less than the not-enough that I normally get.

Be back later.

Well, I didn't get to take a nap, but I did get to the theater on time.  It was a good show tonight..only five more performances!

Topic of the Day:

For as long as I can remember, we've always had cats.  But when we lived in Germany (when I was between 4 and 7 years old), we had a turtle named Herman.  I don't remember what happened to Herman when we left. :-\

Sometime after we moved here to Washington (when I was 10...we lived in Colorado in between), I think while I was in middle school, my parents thought that I should have a dog.  They got me some kind of black lab or something that I named Muppet.  We had him for a few months and I had no idea of how to train him so he never got trained.  He chewed the bottom of my parents' grandfather clock and their marble table.  Not good.  My parents found someone who would take him and we had to give him away.

It really was for the best.

Well, it's official...I just found out that I have not been cast in "Titus Andronicus."

Oh, well.  I'll still work on the production.  That'll be fun. :D
