Sounds like a productive shopping day, DR Cillaliz!  I need to shop for some new clothes, especially pants because most of mine are looking like clown pants already.  And I lo-o-o-ove Coldwater Creek, too!

They are having a One Creek event today. 35% off your total order.  And there were a lot of mark downs.  I was amazed at how much I saved.  Man, I LOVE a sale!! :D

I'm having fun watching the cats today.  They all three follow me wherever I go. Ricky is just cruising for a bruising everywhere he goes.  He taunts them and they smack him, then he dances past them.  He is SOOO like a jr. high school boy teasing his sisters.  It really makes me laugh

I've shaved.  Next stop: Shower, but not for an hour - I always leave an hour before I shower.  I was thinking of wearing one of my new sweaters this very evening but then I'd have to go back to the store and buy a shirt.  They had one Armani shirt that I absolutely loved, but it was three hundred dollars or something like that, which I found more than a little nutty.

I've retunred from a long afternoon meeting that was quite profitable; I think this show is getting some shape and could be interesting. I need to rsearch Appalachoan folksongs tonight about the hardships of the area, from black lung and the coal mines to the poverty and loneliness of the mountains. I want something strong to be the reality behind a family Christmas celebration of fun, games, and religion.

I hope everyone in the HHW northwest clan has a wonderful time tonight. I'm sorry, DR TCB, that you can't join everyone.

We want lots of photos!

The cat's in the bag....literally.   Boo is in the bag.  Ricky is in the cube.  They sat like that for at least 15 minutes without making a sound.  It made me laugh

I shall now be on my way downstairs to wait for JMK and group - we'll go have something light to eat, then it's on to the venue.

And I'm about to leave Tumwater and hopefully meet you at the venue!

This might be a dumb question. But is turkey roast the same thing as roast turkey?

No, they aren't the same. I made a Jenny O Turkey Roast, it's just meat in a tin pan. the one I bought looks like this but it's 1/2 dark meat and 1/2 white meat

We are back from a lovelier than lovely birthday dinner at The Meadows.  Richard had a NY strip steak, Rob had fried oysters, Mom had shrimp salad, and I had beef tips (my second choice - they were out of salmon).  We ran into DR Elmore's friend Loyce and had a little chat.

Is Coldwater Creek a women's clothing store?  I think they are the ones that send me all of the emails about various sales.

I had the greatest time at Comic Con today.

I sold more books in one day than I have ever sold anywhere.

And, not just the memoir.  I had 5 different titles with me and sold 2 of them out completely.

I am a very happy camper.

 :)

I watched a very strange movie this afternoon.  CIRQUE DU FREAKS; THE VAMPIRE'S ASSISTANT

Very very strange, but I guess I really enjoyed it.  It is apparently based on Part One of yet another, vampire trilogy.

I prefer the all-white turkey roast.  However, since Safeway started carrying baked turkey breasts in their deli, I don't buy the roasts very often.
