The regular episodes run a tiny bit over 49 minutes.

Just out of curiosity, what is the "yield" on an hour-long program today?        :-\

An addendum to that report on THE LISTENER that I mentioned to DR Jennifer a few posts back.

NBC will air one more episode (this coming Thursday) and then it's taking the show off the air.

They run around 43-44 minutes including opening and closing credits.

Thanks, DRs Laura, DAW, and Kerry.

John's middle daughter just sent a FB message, telling us that they'd seen him in recovery and he'd reacted, but is still waking up.  He's still on the ventilator, but will be taken off that over the next few hours.

Now I must write a bit more and then head down to finish up THE LOVE BOAT set tonight. With only three episodes left and no bonus features to watch, I should have some time tonight for some fun viewing.

DR DAW--you've tweeted!

Don't spread it around....  Everyone will want some!        ;)

Next week, I'm going to audition for two of twelve shows in the Olympia Audition League...including TAO's production of BK's The Brain from Planet X!!  I'll sing "No Time At All" from Pippin and who knew that Pippin's grandmother knew about Twitter way back then!

I also have last night's THE LISTENER to watch. I know the pilot did not get good reviews. But i really like it. The lead guy is very good. AND it's always very interesting to watch.

Just read that NBC has canceled airing the show's remaining five episodes. They will be shown on-line but not on the network. Since it's a Canadian show, you can probably find it somewhere else.

Yah i watch on CTV a canadian channel. Hopefully they will continue airing the last episodes. I guess for NBC it's all about ratings. But i've really enjoyed all the episodes i've watched.

Good Morning!

I'm up, I'm up... And have you checked your PayPal account this morning?

Seriously, two of my friends had their PayPal accounts hacked sometime during the overnight hours, and I also noticed a few reports on Twitter this morning.  So, if you have an email from PayPal saying that you took out some money - and you don't recall taking out any money - it may not be spam.

So far, my account is okay. :-\ Thanks for the heads-up.

Yeah, that is funny, isn't it?  I remember thinking how OLD the cast of Follies was - the leads.  Well, the oldest of the four leads was still under fifty.

Taking a break and waiting for Mr. Spirtas to arrive who, if he's true to form, will probably be late.  I got a few packages today, but one thing seems to be completely lost.  It was sent from Orange County on the 9th and is sitting somewhere undelivered.  It's an insured package, however, and they will have to pay up - I'll of course get a refund from the seller, but I'd rather have the item.  The USPS really is the most inept institution - but I always thought if one insured a package that those would be given special care, so they wouldn't have to pay.

Listening to a Marlene Dietrich compilation CD - her recordings with Burt Bacharach.  I adore her.

You know what song I LOVE?  I don't know why I just thought of it, probably may suggest it to Kevin and Linda - The Glory Of Love.  Oh, now I remember - I gave it to Sean McDermott to do.  I still love it.

Whether Kevin wants to or not, I do believe we'll be having our meeting over lunch, because I'm about to fall over.

Heard from Brent Barrett today - he still wants to do the Xmas album, but he has exactly one week in which to do it (he's BUSY!) and I'm not sure the timing can work out, especially as he wants to record in NY.  It's around the 8th of September, and I have other commitments in that month, so we'll have to see.  Easier for me if he comes here, obviously.  But if I have to come in and can clear the dates he has, then it will be five days.
