The "Cannibal Carnivore Barbie" line is now quite a collector's item!    ::)

But what about her "Voodoo Witch Doctor Ken" mate?

Sweet naptime dreams, Dr. Jo!

I'm happy to report I have watched THE LAST EMPEROR in this set for the third and last time (for quite awhile, that is). Never been one of my favorite movies, and after this whirlwind viewing extravaganza, it didn't improve much in my eyes. Maybe a half star on a five star scale, but that's all.

All of the bonus features did help me see what was being aimed for in Bertolucci's original vision, and that's helped me to pick it apart a little more to see that he did achieve more of less most of his aims.

I sped through today's AS THE WORLD TURNS. No Luke or Noah, nor were they a part of the previews for tomorrow's show either.

I had time to watch Monday night's NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE. It had some funny moments with Christine being thought of as the worst of the "meanie moms." She had redeemed herself by the end of the show.

I still have last night's JERICHO which I'll watch when I go back down. Looking forward to that.

And as for IDOL tonight, I may record the show and not start watching until 9 so I can speed through it and see the show basically in an hour's time. That may be the way to go with these two hour broadcasts.

Sure works for me!

Life is an ever-lasting learning experience:

A. Were there is kitty litter, there will be kitty poop. DC JJ sxratched litter out of the box onto the carpet, and decided that the new pile was fair game.

Lesson Learned - clean up around the litter box - often!

B. Reflective safety collars are great for walks at night, but play havoc with cameras!

Lesson Learned - strip for the camera.

Soon after this, Buster managed to get into the basement and immediately went cat searching - JJ retreated to the top of his chair and hissed, but that was it. (Fortunately, JJ's new home is inside a four foot chain-link enclosure I had put up in the basement when we got Peggy and her three pups. It has a nice chair, carpet on the floor, and a space heater nearby. I was able to close the gate - keeping Buster out - until I caught him and put him back upstairs.)

That is one beautiful cat!

I say that, because she looks like Sasha.

So I sat myself in a corner and looked through / shredded old papers.

Go into business! Get some old boxes, have MaeLing decorate with crayon, fill with shredded paper, and sell as "Laura's Kustom-Krafted Kitty Tray" (can also double as a Guinea pig or Parrot cage liner).

My first question for ASK BK day:

Even if you own the DVD or Video, do you still sometimes watch a movie or television show when it is being broadcast?

Rarely, if ever.

I went to Marie Callender's in Burbank to have a hamburger and to proof.  It was fun.  Character actor Ed Lauter wandered in whilst I was there.

I finally have come up with a tune I love for the second number (new) of the stage version of Nudie Musical.  I was not happy with what I'd written, either musically or lyrically, but this new tune feels really good, is very catchy, and I now have to reconfigure the lyric and make it cleaner.

One of the other PBS stations in my area is showing the HD broadcast of COMPANY tomorrow night at 9 (opposite LOST and SUPERNATURAL, of course). So I'll be recording it then. I probably won't watch it at all tonight unless I flip over to see what it looks like during LAW & ORDER commercials.

Both my previous and current cats did/do better with cat boxes that had/have hoods.
