I did get one review copy in the mail today: the Blu-ray disc of NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN. It doesn't come out until March 11th, but here it is. Still have three other films to get to before I can watch it.

Sad to report the passing of hilarious Bollywood character actress MANORAMA who passed away on February 15th in Mumbai.

Her acting career went back to the silent days and her last feature film appearence was in the film WATER...just a few years ago.

JRand might recall her from that PARENT TRAP remake DO KALIYAN and that very fun film CARAVAN.

I also used to enjoy e-bay. I bought a lot of antique Evelyn Nesbit postcards for DR Sandra and vintage Marilyn Monroe postcards for DR Megan. Later it seemed they were being listed by stores and too expensive.

I still have my leopard-spotted photo album with my Marilyn Monroe postcards!

Guess I'll head down now to watch JERICHO and possibly a Charlie Chan movie before settling in with tonight's TV shows.

Both my previous and current cats did/do better with cat boxes that had/have hoods.

I'm glad to hear you still have them, DR Megan. I always tried to have a new one for you whenever we had an opportunity to visit.

OK... Since it is Ask BK Day...  And I know I should know the answer to this question, but...

"MILLSTONE" vs. "MILESTONE"?  When did one term "become" the other?

There's great interest here in SW Ohio in the Jeopardy! Teen Tournament.  Tonight we'll find out if

this young lady

advances to the finals.

Re the cat, Cilla posted:Well, I really don't want the bother of keeping him, but see little choice for now. Actually, he seems quite content having the basement to himself - he has taken to exploring, and there is lots of stuff to get into :) As soon as you come downstairs, if he is not in his chair, he comes dashing out from the nether regions to greet you. He always uses the litter box (even if he does have poor aim - guess he is a male) and seems to really like the el-cheapo canned food I got from Super G (2 small cans for $0.89). The Wag and Wash is having a $3 rabies clinic on Saturday, so they'll all get shots.

JJ does seem genuinely happy, so I guess he stays a while.

YEAH!!!! Cat's Rule......(even if it is only the basement).

Would someone KINDLY send me a private message and explain how to post more than one photo at a time?  I'd greatly appreciate it.

Also, for those familiar with Photobucket, which of the available "versions" of saved photos do you select to post here....there are four, I believe, including one that is an http.

Weather.com says we have a 70% chance of rain tonight. This should be a good spring for wildflowers -- we have had rain every couple of weeks.

Yeah! I will be in Green Valley in mid March. Hope there are wild flowers out then

I just sent you a PM, Ron.  I forgot about the "versions" part of your question.  Use the URL link (the last of the four), that has the [ img ] and [ /img ]  codes.

And the word of the day is: WEALD!

Shouldn't that have been the word of the day, yesterday?  Then it would have been a Tuesday Weald.

Today was fun. I'm learning how many people watch the news. They get the same TV stations in my home town, so my parents reported many people commented today about seeing me on the news. For me it started with coffee and went on throughout the day the comments were all positive, which was quite fun

Little lamb, little lamb
My birthday is here at last
Little lamb, little lamb
My birthday goes by so fast

Little bear, little bear
You sit on my right
Right there

Little hen, little hen
What game should we play and when?

Little cat, little cat
Oh, why do you look so blue?
Did somebody paint you like that,
Or is your birthday too?

Little fish, little fish
Do you think I'll get my wish?

Little lamb, little lamb
I wonder how old I am
I wonder how old I am
Little lamb

I'm hoping we can divide it.

One of my neighbors tells me the firemen were here today to check out the hallway.

Good luck that happens, and I'm happy to hear you missed the firemen.

Oh, dear, I've discovered a new mystery series with a librarian sleuth:

Jo Dereske's Miss Zukas Mysteries

I've checked out the first three - now do you think we could have a few snow days so I can hibernate and read?

Please let me know if I should read them.

She is creepy looking, more so than some of the others.
