Which is also why the day's notes and posts will sometimes appear to repeat a day lately.

Or it could just be the echo in here.

It's a cooler, grayer day in Oakland this morning.

DR George, thanks for sharing all the great Sideshow pictures.  Dolly looks simply lovely!   :)

Thanks! ;)

Back from a midday brownbag lunch meeting.  I didn't have anything to take for lunch today, didn't really pass any drive-throughs that appealed to me, and was just going to make do with the coffee and muffins that the venue provided.  One of the other board members had gone to a Burger King drive-through and discovered that she'd been given the wrong order.  She had a full-size Whopper, chicken nuggets, fries, and a large soft drink.  She shared her lunch with me and we could have fed a third person.

The person who ordered all that must have been really disappointed to get Marty's order - a Whopper Junior (with no mayo) and a small diet Coke.

I hope that person went back and complained!

I made mini banana muffins for my 2 year old niece's daycare Easter party tomorrow. I had no idea how long it would take to fill those little suckers!

Btw, speaking of recipes, has anyone ever tried the KFC imitation recipe for cole slaw or potato salad? (they are free at toprecipes.com). Very good.

I made the potato salad one for tonight. But when i told my niece on the phone she proclaimed, "i don't like that" (although she doesn't even know what it is).

But i made her the cole slaw last week. And my sis says she has been asking her for it everyday! So i made her another batch (doesn't take too long).

Last night on the phone she said i was bringing her "cole sa-law" (how she pronounces it).

The recipe site is actually topsecretrecipes.com

Do you mean fill the muffin wrappers or did you put a filling inside the muffins?

AMAZING WHAT YOU CAN DISCOVER DEPARTMENT:

While researching the Long Beach local school district's potentially damaging decisions, our team uncoverd a fully equipped auto mechanic's lab (lifts, bays, hoists, tools, machine tools, etc) whose doors have never been opened. Seems "somebody" decided not to offer a course even though the new lab was in place.

even though the new lab was in place.

So that's where the weapons of mass destruction were hidden!
