I'm going to head down a little earlier than usual to see if there's anything to tempt my taste buds.

Thank you, DR singdaw.

And I can't wait to hear my restaurant report either! A friend of mine is taking me out to dinner tonight, and when he called to ask if Tribeca Grill was all right, after a brief stunned silence, I just had to respond, "Yes." ;)

DR Ron Pulliam -

Your spoiler buffers are endlessly entertaining.     ;D

Please just keep in mind that it was not I who complained about spoilers and accidentally "seeing" things on HHW.

I never meant for you to believe I thought you were.  I had to place spoiler gibberish.. er..gobbledygook .. er...some made-up code to place in front of the text to spoiler posts because of the dreaded stray-eye-that-WILL-read-anything-inside-a-properly-documented-SPOILER-post" and ...well ... I was "inspired"....

The "dangerous" part of today is that I'll be working down at Pace University... Which is just steps away from the amazing CD and DVD selection of J&R Music World... Must resist!  Must resist!

Big service for me tonight at the church.

Gradually, the lights are extinguished, until the service ends in total darkness.

My job [besides singing] is then to create a loud "bang" [signifying what, I've never been specifically told] by slamming a 10 pound book down on a hollow wooden floor in the darkness.

The trick is to keep it from bouncing.     ;D

Good morning, all! The Toyland work continues, and I have a few errands to run this morning.

I go through horrible depressions which send me to bed to sleep them off. They sometimes last for several days. I haven't had a grisly one since 2004, and that was when the misdiagnosed "boil" turned into something major, and I could not cope with my health, which included a period I was on crutches because of some leg problem and an eventual round - followed by another - of surgery.  Along with the health, there were the collapsed bookcases and the lack of work caused by my depression and my health.  It was an effort to do or to accomplish anything for several months, so very little wrks for me in getting me out of it.

Today, I have things to accomplish, so I have to get busy. Back laer.

Oh, Elmo...you're a little ray of sunshine, you are!   ;D

Hello, everyone.

I am trying to rejoin the land of the living. On the mend, but my stomach is not at all sure about the idea of food. My jeans are getting quite loose.

OOH!!  I loved that part of the Holy Week services!  The church I went to as a child, they would drop 2X4s onto the marble(?) floors at the back of the church.  BOOM!!!!!!!

TOD:
Anytime I feel discouraged listening to JS Bach will pick me up. Beethoven, too, but I'm absolutely a Bach lover. Both composers restore my faith in the human race--well, some of it.

CITY OF ANGELS

If there ever was a Broadway Musical that would translate to the screen-This is the one. Just think-Reality in Technicolor-Fiction in Black and White. The story is interesting and the Score is Wonderful
