Next, I watched 10 of the 23 short films in the Criterion set that I'm currently working on. All but two of these science-oriented films were about microscopic marine life. I particularly enjoyed the film about sea horses, my favorite thus far. (Who knew the males give birth to the children?)

They were all enjoyable to varying degrees, but it was a bit unpleasant to watch a vampire bat drain the blood from a guinea pig while the poor animal was trying to figure out what was happening to it.

I'm glad I had finished eating long before that film came up!

I hope to get the rest of disc one and some of disc two watched before prime time TV takes over later this evening. I'm hoping to watch HEROES (from Monday night), BONES, and SOUTHLAND tonight before signing on for my evening internet surf.

I finished the afternoon surfing through today's AS THE WORLD TURNS. Luke and Noah were on with a hackneyed argument about the irritating Zac and Zoe, Lily getting drawn back into Damien's orbit, etc. Tedious in the extreme.

Wonder of wonders, miracle of miracles, we're now a wireless household!  Rob's here this afternoon and has installed our AirPort.  He's very glad his parents have finally entered the 21st century.

Rob also installed Firefox on my new laptop.  It's nice to have our very own tech support guru.

We're off to Cincinnati for Maundy Thursday services...bye for now!

Off to downstairs where there isn't a seder taking place but there is a viewing room with more science-oriented films to get through. Then, it's on to some relaxing prime time TV.

Good Afternoon!

I believe I've finished the last round of music edits before we move into the theatre tomorrow night.  Then once I hear certain things in the theatre and through the sound system, I'm sure I'll have to make some more.  -Which is probably how I will be spending my Easter Sunday.  Ah, well...

Ah, Holy Thursday...

I'm pretty I've told this story before, but...

When I was in grade school, I sang in the Cathedral's Junior Choir.  For the Holy Thursday Mass, we were seated downstairs with the congregation, off to one side of the altar.  The Bishop was presiding over that Mass, and during the Recessional, I looked up in the middle of singing and noticed that he was waving at me.  So, I waved back.  Of course, he wasn't waving at me, I just happened to look up as he was in the midst of blessing the Congregation - making the sign of the Cross.  Then the giggling started... ::)

I forgot to mention yesterday that RENO 911! began its new season last night. I missed it myself, but I'll try to find another broadcast on Comedy Central over the next few days. I'm sure it'll be repeated a lot.

I thought that the new season of "RENO 911" started last week. :-\

...And I believe we will be playing "Hide and Seek The Matzoh" during the course of tonight's rehearsal.

-Which, I believe, had it's origin in the "Hide the Oreos on the barricades" during Les Miserables.  Of course, that "game" stopped once someone forgot that they had hidden the Oreos... The barricades folded up... And the Oreos came down... (SPOO!)

How do you define "drunkest"? Is it the time you passed out the most, the time you vomited the most, or the time you had the longest memory lapse? Or is it the time you experienced all three? Fortunately, I've never experienced all three at once - just each individually. I guess "drunkest" is the time I had a lapse in my memory and I got drunk with friends on something they called "fruit bruit" which was Hawaiian Punch mixed with lord knows how many different types of liquor. But the funnier story is the time I passed out. I was sitting at a Mexican restaurant with a dear old friend who was just turning 21. (We had been friends since we were 5 years old and religiously watched the Partridge Family together every Friday night and then played Partridge Family records until bedtime while singing into our hairbrush microphones.) I had two margaritas at the restaurant. The next thing my friend new, I just simply fell over sideways, slumped over the booth seat. When I came to, I said, "Oh wow, I fell asleep!" My friend said, "You did??" She was busting up laughing that I really believed I fell asleep at the table. Later that evening I said, "You know, I don't think I fell asleep - I think I passed out." My friend said, "Yes, I know you did."

I was invited to a friend's Seder tonight but my stomach started feeling upset in the office this afternoon so I decided to skip it.  So tonight won't be any different from any other night, at least for me...
