I need the patience vibes. He said they'd be here between 8 and 9 a.m., and so far they are 13 minutes late.

I think they were props.  I guess they were supposed to be computers or something - who knew?  All the machinery in Creature came from the Star Trek set (our set designer worked on Star Trek).

Ahhhhhhh....okay....interesting.   ;D

After reading DR LAURA's posts about her mirror and DR CILLA LIZ's about removing the mirror tiles...

Has anyone else had experience with those tiles?  They are very difficult to hang so that all of them reflect in the same direction!  You end up looking like a Picasso....a Pizarro....or at least a fun house reflection.

Here's another Bye, Bye Haley prediction.

Whoever that Yahoo reviewer is, the prediction for the Bottom 3 is Jordin, Haley and Lakisha.

I think that's a bit over-the-top, so anything truly goes.

Spoo.  I forgot.  That would make them 16 minutes early.

Never mind!

Quote from "Paddypower", an Irish online gambling site that also lists odds for just about anything going on in the world:

Re:  Dancing with the Stars....

"Heather Mills has gone stateside to try carve out a name as a dancer! We're not kidding! Heather is going up against former N*Sync member Joey Fatone and Beverly Hills 90210 star Ian Ziering among others. Good luck Heather, Break a leg!"

At this rate, bk's going to be finished with his book within a week!

And THEN what will he do with all that spare time?

Today I'll get to last night's BOSTON LEGAL....

I loved this episode!  Here's the synopsis from ABC's website:

A man with a decades-long grudge against Denny Crane and his late attorney father takes the firm hostage, forcing staff at Crane, Poole & Schmidt to "re-try" a murder case in which a young Denny ensured the defendant's acquittal. Scenes from a 50-year-old television pilot, "The Defender" - featuring a young William Shatner [and Ralph Bellamy as his father] - are incorporated into the episode to show what transpired during the original case that led to the modern day hostage taking. Meanwhile, Alan Shore's attempt to defend an accused prostitute lands him in jail for contempt of court.

I loved this episode.  In the "flashbacks," Denny wants to use a trick in the courtroom to help get an acquittal for their client.  His father is upset that he (Denny) would resort to such tactics, but it works...and so does the episode.  It really shows another side of Denny Crane (and William Shatner's acting) that we rarely ever get to see.

The Seattle dates are a week after my birthday.  I'll "hint" to my sister that I want to go and we'll all probably make a day of it. :)

Wonderful!  I told my DH about it and he said "Are we going?". We both love Seattle...I lived in Bellvue for a few years (grade 1-3) and have fond memories of it. We went back a few years ago and had a great time! But I'm afraid I'll probably be in CLOSER frenzy by then, for the Season 3 premiere, which has moved to June 18th.

Edisaurus, I'll come on Friday and see who else I can rustle up.  And we can go out on another day or evening.

That would be perfect!! We look forward to meeting you for the first time!

The only bad thing about the LA screenings is that they are showing the film on DVD instead of digibeta. Bummer...I expected more from LA!

RE: idol

I am very curious to see how popular gina is.  She is one of the ones that i really don't know about (how well she is liked).

I could see phil, haley or gina going. And hopefully sanjaya could be in the bottom 2 or 3. My least fav (other than sanjaya is haley).

It's a shame they can't also do that with the Tony Awards.
