I would definitely have an apartment on Central Park West on a high floor with a faboo view of the city.
I'd buy my current house, which I really like, even though I'm not in a buying frame of mind.
I'd have a flat in London, too, even though I've never been there - I know I'd love it.
And I'd have a little apartment in Santa Monica for weekend visits (well, I HAD an apartment there, five seconds from the beach, in a highrise, rent-controlled). When I moved back to the Valley I gave it up. That was the stupidest thing I ever did - they eventually, one year later, paid people fifty grand to move out. Had I stayed and not taken the 50K, I'd be paying app. $800 for a nice one bedroom with a lovely view of the ocean.
