Am going to try another photo...just to celebrate the season:

This is the tree I put up the day after Thanksgiving. I'll enjoy it on my return to Oakland and will probably take it down on New Year's Day....or not. It may wait until the next weekend.

Yes, but he used iTunes to download them to his iPod.

As if I don't mention Frances Farmer enough department: I was stunned, to say the least, to see in the first broadcast episode of Man from U.N.C.L.E. (the second one on this set after what I guess was the pilot) the farmhouse set for Frances' 1958 Studio One appearance "Tongues of Angels." Was Studio One an MGM production?

I can just see you sloshing around inside your hamper, trying to agitate some suds...of course it leaked.

You would use the same process to dry your clothes as you would have done had you washed them using some other means.

What has Dr. Hunk prescribed in that medication anyway???

I was very pleased with the finale of "The Biggest Loser" last night. It was gratifying to see the twin men win both big prizes.

I am looking forward to "The Biggest Loser: Couples" which starts January 1.

And I'm also looking forward to "Big Brother" which, I think, also starts in January.

More reality shows will pop up soon because of the strike.

And leave us not forget American Idol will be starting up soon.

And....sometime early next year (February? March?) the next edition of "Survivor" will begin.

This time, only six new players will be introduced. The other six will be from previous shows, including one from the just-completed "Survivor:China". I'm hoping it will be Aaron, but it might also be James.

My mom and I drove over to Aiken SC this afternoon. The traffic was abominable.

We got to the Aiken Mall...and the place seemed deserted. Lots of stores with lots of sales...and lots of cars in the parking lot. But...where were the people?

We hit a few stores, but left after having been there about 40 minutes.

Then we hit Wal-Mart....BIG, BIG store...TONS of people. I found many things I've been wanting/needing to get.

Wal-Mart has ruined the mall industry, it seems. Of course, what goes around MAY come around, eventually.
