Dear George, if the Brain is in 2010, I might just come see the show, I have not been outside of CA for years.   How far is Eugene, OR  from the theatre ( I can stay there anytime).

Peter Kastner died???  When?  How?  I have such fond memories of him - we did a pilot together - we shot at the beach and we just bonded.  We went to his place for dinner and he came to ours - my daughter thought he was the berries.

Last year, I don't remember how.

How about getting that new single neighbor from across the street to help, Cillaliz?

He's never around and when he is he usually has someone with him,  So, whatever.
I do need some help with replacing a couple light fixtures and he owns a company of electricians, so maybe when I'm ready for that, I'll see if he'll help.

Thanks and thanks Sam for the wishes for tomorrow.  I'm really not too concerned about it.  I do think I've had an episode in the past.  I think that this is probably the same thing I had when I was in DC last year.  It feels the same.

I'm really interested to meet this doctor.  I think she's new at the clinic. I really like the other doctors there, so I hope I'll like her too.

It's been raining a bit here in Tumwater throughout the day, and now it's raining more than it has been....it's a pretty steady rain.  I didn't wear a jacket, nor did I bring an umbrella with me. :P

At least, I'm leaving now and it's not a torrential downpour.  Until later!

DR Jane, Boo is fine.  She's sitting in an open window in the living room and looks quite content.  don't know if she'll go in the kitchen again.

Topic of the Day:  I have a whole bunch of musical theater cast albums and related recordings.  I'm not a true completist, but I do what I can. ;)

Otherwise, the only thing that I really do collect (mainly because it's cheap to do so) is keychains.  I have been collecting them since I was in seventh or eighth grade.  And whenever people go on vacations, I usually get a keychain as a gift because they are so cheap.  A few weeks ago, I even found my very first keychain that started it all, and have it hanging on a wall in my office with a whole bunch of my other keychains.

What was your first keychain?

I heard the weirdest friggin' rendition of CANDLE IN THE WIND on XM on the way home from a gig tonight.  The artist was Bronn Journey or something like that, and it sounded like a Celtic harp.  As the musically literate here know, CANDLE is a pretty basic 4/4 piece with a pretty traditional harmonic schematic.  This version was like someone playing on Quaaludes for a measure and 1/16th, then suddenly becoming a crack head for about a beat and a half and then doing something in between--completely (and I mean completely) assymetrical phrasing on what is one of Elton's most "balanced" tunes.  I mean, it made Rubato seem like a martial tempo.  ;)  The weird thing is there was this massive string orchestration in parts, so it must have been planned--at least, I kept thinking it must have been.  Weird, weird, weird.

You think I jest?  Here's but a snippet I just found:

It now seems more like Jonathan & Darlene Do Your New Age Favorites on Harp!

I didn't feel like watching anything this evening, so I've been listening to CDs and wasting time on the Internet.

I have been a collector since forever. I began collecting movie photos, posters, and pressbooks when I was in in High School. First item I bought was through the mail, an ATTACK OF THE 50 FT WOMAN lobby card for $3. Next was an 8x10 photo from ATTACK OF THE PUPPET PEOPLE. And on it went from there.

I sold several of my movie posters a few years back, for a nice sum.

While I still collect movie items, I stick mainly to collecting June Kenney, Allison Hayes, and Ken Clark memorabilia

Will you stop collecting June, now that she is alive again?

My June collecting will never stop.

Good Evening!

Another round of thanks to DR FJL and is ever-lovin' Skip for another lovely evening of food and friendship. It was great to catch up with the Tom (Rodzinski) and Julie (Julie). And Toby and Dylan too, of course!
