He was so excited, as anyone would be.  He called me at work and his voice was so lively my assistant thought he was my brother.  He said that was the second thing that made his day.

The best part of this is that he was starting to look for a new computer and my mom was planning to redo a room for him to use as his den/office now that he is retired.  She didn't like the idea of a great big desk top. Now he doesn't need to get a new one!

I have officialy lost 18.4 pounds since October 15th.  I am most pleased.  I got another gold star today :)

I"m not sure if this is considered a spoiler. it's re: American Idol and someone who supposedly made it to Hollywood (i guess don't read anymore if you don't want to know).

Actually i'm not sure anyone else here would know this person. But i think my 3 year old niece might have to start watching American Idol. One of her favorite people in the whole world is apparently on the show this year.  She is very popular among the 3-5 year olds. Her name is Jennifer Peterson Hind and she is in the kids group Hi-5. I think on American Idol she is going by her married name Korbee.  I have watched hours and hours of the group hi-5 and Jen is my favorite. It will be interesting to see what she does.
