Does anyone else think the Cho brothers are too nice?  I almost think of the mom riding the bike had not told him to go ahead that the brother would have waited for her (and probably carried her rock up the hill).

I mean i don't like rob and kimberly but they actually handled the taxi situation the best (they kindly said they were in a race and were allowed to cut the line).

In contrast the moms were witches and just jumped the line while everyone yelled at them.

And the asian brothers annoyingly waited at the back.  That drove me crazy.

Well at least in the preview for next week it looks like the 6 pack (now 4 pack) will part ways.

My 2 favorite teams did lead the way for most of the show (beauty queens and male models).

But i do like the Chos. They can be good players and they are kind. But they need to be more competitive. This is a race for a million dollars for goodness sake.

And i still do not like the moms. It was sweet to see them watch videos of their kids. But they are constantly showing footage of them being witches.

I shall now be on my way, but wanted everyone to know that the Emily and Alice CD is now up for preorder.  Don't delay.  I'm not posting about this anywhere else until this evening, so beat the crowd and get the special preorder price.

Wow Edisaurus! Fascinating stuff. Your old work environment makes WKRP in Cincinnati sound completely functional. I too got canned via phone once, by a faux literary agent who was totally corrupt. Anyways, I think I basically missed most of VMC's run, for by the time I got to the ATL, it was just Janet Darr and The Butcher. Three afternoon video shows, and the rest was "regular" programming. Except for the Jazz Beat late at night.

They won't have a prob.  Haven't heard from MusicGuy recently, but we'll all have a gathering post-performance that evening, but MusicGuy was also talking about doing a pre-matinee breakfast, which I'm also very up for.

I am always available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

Tomovoz, thanks for the info yesterday. I was just curious about the song. There aren't that many songs that feature the "Tom" name, Tom Dooley, notwithstanding.

This is exceedingly scary......I ah ah agree with you DR Jennifer, well except for the male models, but they are starting to grow on me. I love the Chos, but they are too nice, they need to just play the game already

There was a power outage last night!  Here in Tumwater, the power went out sometime last night and didn't come on until about 10:00 a.m.!  I put all my jeans in the wash last evening and forgot about them until I was about to go to bed, but I thought, I'll just put them in the dryer in the morning because of the very loud and obnoxious buzzer.  Well, when I woke up, there was no power!  Fortunately, it came on just before I had to take a shower in the dark (whew), and I actually didn't get to work too late.  But I'm wearing my jean shorts and am a little cold. :(

And I have a cold.  DAMMIT!!  I felt it coming on last night, and I took some Dimetapp.  That's what ususally works best for me.  Hopefully, I started early enough and it won't get any (much?) worse. :-\

Yes I hope the Cho Bros don't learn too late that nice guys finish last....and my guess would be that there are NO MORE non-elimnation legs.

I do also like the Cho Brothers, and I do like that they are being nice and polite..which I think is important and part of good sportsmanship...but there are times when it is uneccessary...the moms aren't expecting them to wait for them each time...so they do not need to do that...I totally thought the moms were out of line crowding in front of the taxi queue...you don't do that sort of thing. If winning and money are so important to you that you give up being a nice human being and step on others, well then I just don't think it is worth it.

What I really appreciate about the Cho brothers is that even if they do not win, they will have enjoyed being in the race...and if you don't have fun...well...then...you just don't have any fun! LOL!

By the way, I thin Finland looks like a beautiful country!

Actually it is not bad, in the 50s. Gloomy though. Like when everyone has gone home from the Annual Witches Ball.

When is the complete Winsome Witch coming out on DVD? Anyone remember Winnie? I'm not sure which Hanna-Barbera omnibus she was a part of, but I enjoyed her good natured sorcery.

I think they announced at the beginning that there were 2 non-elimination legs and we've had both of them

It was quite warm while at lunch. I had a turtleneck sweater, and I was warm walking to and from the restaurant. Not complaining. This November has been the warmest on record.

Got home and watched DEXTER first. As always, an absorbing and creepy episode.

spoiler guess

Since it was pretty proven last night that the man areested as the Ice Truck Killer was not guilty, I want to state for the record who *I* think the murderer is - the man fitting quadraplegics with their artificial limbs. I was suspicious of him last week, and after his few scenes this week, I'm convinced he's the killer.

Tom Get's The Last Laugh.

And that is a song title - not an answer to FJL.

But it is an "answer song" to Tom Dooley.

I watched last night's COLD CASE next. The best episode of the season, a tear-jerker if ever there was one about the abduction and assumed murder of an eight year old white girl who was friends with a black girl. I guessed the "killer's" identity pretty easily, but I could NOT have predicted how the story was going to work out or how tremendously it moved me while watching it.
