Hi, Jane.
How are you doing? I imagine you're quite relieved and feeling more optimistic.

TCB, your procedure the other day was done with a laser? I hope the blurriness has left and your good vision has returned.

I've been cleaning out my food cabinet. (It's not grand enough to call a pantry.) It had reached the avalanche stage. I no longer get hit in the head when I open the cabinet door. More organizing to do, but not today.

Brian would be happy to do this for me, but some things I prefer to do myself. I'll let him do the cleaning.

I got sun burnt on my hands and neck. So, my paws look like lobster claws.

I'm getting to work on a parody timed to TCB's show, called "Yes, Virginia, We Do Have Lobster Claws."

As you can see, I have no news. No real news.

Hi, Jane.
How are you doing? I imagine you're quite relieved and feeling more optimistic.

I was until it took so long to get my PT appointment which made me a little nervous the delay effect the final results.  I hope the therapist is excellent.  I keep telling myself it just give my bones more time to mend.  It all takes a long time.  It will take 4-6 months for the swelling and discoloration to be gone  :o

Yes, I am extremely relieved and feeling more optimistic :)

I think it's their revenge for the lobsters I ate earlier this year.

TOD:

Columbia had everything from A Little Night Music OBC to Bruce Springsteen, so it was an important label to me. Plus, they eventually got Neil Diamond.
UNI had early Neil Diamond.
Motown had the groove.

Were the special deals in magazines (much cheaper than in the store) based on all being from the same label?

The record sleeves often had pictures of other albums on the label to make you want more.

Yesterday, as I was waiting for Paul McCartney to take the stage, I saw on Facebook the sad news that my friend, Bob, had died. I have written about him in the past. He was a chef who had both Parkinson's and Lyme diseases. He had just turned 50 a few months ago. Word is that he had a heart attack.

There was so much Internet usage at the park where the concert was being held that you couldn't get through. I kept trying and trying access stories. I had no details. It was hard. I finally got one story to open.

It was weird. I could get Facebook and texts, but no Internet or emails.

Sorry to hear the news about Carol Hall, too. I really enjoyed her work. She was supposedly working on a musical version of Capote's A Christmas Memory with Larry Grossman. I'd like to hear that some day. I don't see it working as a stage show anymore than The Grass Harp or Breakfast at Tiffany's, but I bet their work is worth a listen.
