A woman on my team lives in Colorado Springs. In all the emotional aftermath of our former boss dying, I forgot until last night to ask about the Club Q shooting. Turns out her daughter, who turned 23 today, is gay and frequented the club. Thankfully, she wasn’t there that night.

I told her to give her daughter an extra big hug today.
