So, do any of the musicals this year have that stupid staging of the actors toting around musical instruments? Or has that fad passed?

I took the Orchestrations list from the Tony Web site. Larry Blank isn't listed there. Orchestrations are not up at the Times site. That's where I got some of the early lists but it's not complete.

I was about to ask a out Larry Blank's nomination too. He's not listed - nor did he come up in the Twitter feed for @thetonyawards. Was he left off the list - which seems to be Mr. Blank's fate (Broadway PRODUCERS, movie of CHICAGO), or was he overlooked?

The Times still doesn't list the Orchestrations nominees. It's only at the Tony Web site.

I hope Larry Blank is nominated.

Now I have to get a standing room ticket for God of Carnage.

The Tonys are on Sunday June 7 at 8pm, 7 central

I will be nasty and write one thing.

I am so disappointed that drek like Rock of Ages was nominated not only for Best Musical but Best Actor in a Musical. But it's certainly not the first time.

But I do have to say that there are some pretty competitive categories this year. The list is rife with possible upsets. Rife, I tell ya'!
