We just had a brief stop in Rochester...

The Border Patrol came on board asking for Country of Citizenship and passports and IDs...

The young woman sitting across was kindly asked to leave the train with her baggage...

She did not get back on the train after they checked her paperwork via the computers in the truck outside...

Good morning!

Oervcast this morning with more rain freocast throughout the day. We finally did have rain last night but just a bare trace during the morning and afternoon. It's nice and cool this morning, and I'm really enjoying having the windows and doors open.

I observed the same sequence of events a few years ago on a train stopped at the border between Canada and New York.
