Actually, I misread.  We've got a few posts left to go - I forgot how many great posting days we've had.

BK - At least the posts about the DREAMGIRLS grosses are not by the guy who screams everyhting about SPRING AWAKENING grosses in capital letters.

That's some consolation, although I'd be careful about offering consolations to people like Yvonne de Carlo - she might actually glare at you as she signs her autograph.  Horrors!  :)  :)

Yvonne de Carlo?  She's Still Here?

I've had a wonderful day betwixt a late luncheon with my friend Donald from Atlanta and his friend John - a very interesting artist - now living in San Francisco.  When I got in, I burned some CDs for Donald, and I will deliver them on Tuesday to his hotel.  Tonight, I've had several slices of a most delicious pizza and I've been watching the UGLY BETTY marathon on the ABC family station.

I haven't decided if I should have some gin and tonic or eggnog before I go to bed.  It will be very soon.  New Year's Eve consists of Too Many Midnights, the title of my next fantasy novel.

What's she up to now?

She's on her third husband...well you know what I mean....converted to Christianity in 1987, and has released three gospel albums.

Couldn't you plotz?  ::)

I like Bruce, but he's no elmore, Lanny Meyers, or David Siegel.

I do not, but his FLOYD COLLINS orchestrations are truly wonderful.

A Jew converted to Christianity?  Who did she marry - Cliff Richard?  I mean, as long as we're in Fantasyland.

Have had the FLOYD COLLINS cd for over 10 years, and haven't made it through it yet.  8)

Oh, Brucie, so intelligent and talented, but so wrong sometimes!  I hope I'm unconscious before the official midnight on the East Coast!

John Judd     (31 August 1988 - present)
Morris Gundlash    (18 June 1972 - 1977) (divorce)
Duncan C. Weldon    (15 November 1967 - May 1971) (divorced)

My guess is the third one is a goyim....some kind of actor or something.

I didn't care for Floyd Collins - it bored me to tears, I must say, along with its orchestrations.  I got tired of all that multiple guitar stuff - even though it was our NY fave, Kevin Kuhn.  Want to hear one of the most beautiful guitar things ever - listen to Mr. Kuhn on Guy Haines' version of What Can You Lose?  It was originally scored for sax, but when I heard what Mr. Kuhn was doing I asked elmore if we could have him be the soloist, as I thought the sax was too standard (plus, our sax player was, how shall we say - oh, read Rewind), and elmore graciously complied and the result is magical.

elmore may fall asleep before East Coast midnight, but he'll wake up before the West Coast midnight - you'll see (casts a haineshisway.com spell).

We're seeing SPRING AWAKENING tomorrow.  I'm hoping my coughing will be better, but (if it's like it was off-Bway) i figure the musical numbers will be loud enough so that if I cough from time to time during the songs, no one will hear.

It's Skip's first time seeing it, though.
