DR Ginny - Maybe the bartenders could consult THESE GUYS.

Or maybe the bartenders at THIS PLACE.

:)

Then again, maybe they could just use the following recipe:

Tequila Mockingbird

1/2 cup unsweetened apple cider
2 oz. tequila
2 oz. black currant-flavored liqueur (Cassis)
2 tsp. fresh lime juice
ice

Pour apple cider, tequila, black currant-flavored liqueur and lime juice over ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake well. Pour contents of cocktail shaker, including ice, into 2 old-fashioned glasses and enjoy! Serves 2.

Or THIS ONE

2 oz Tequila
1/2 oz Lemon Juice
1 tsp Creme de Menthe (white) - Glassware: Cocktail Glass

Shake both the ingredients in a shaker with ice and strain into a cocktail glass.

Hmm... The first one looks interesting... And the second one kind of scares me.

I'd say just put a couple of bottles of Patron (Silver and Gold) on the bar, a bowl of lime wedges, a couple of salt shakers and let the party begin!

;D

And if you do body-shots, then there would be no glassware to worry about either.

Francois, no idea of a  typical American? You mean you don't have the streotype there of  overweight middleaged couple badly dressed traveling around Europe speaking loudly and slowly in English to non-English speakers?

So much to catchup on today.   Is it my imagination, or has the record set on Oscar night made the chat even more exciting here if that's possible?

DR François - BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN

And, I, too, thought the Academy voters chickened out.

As Tomovoz would say, I was trying to check if someone would read my post!! :D

Sorry for misspelling!
I do think it's an odd name for a mountain! It's true that Brockback does not have the same sound to it! ;)

Reviewed a return by someone in the office today that was a big step forward for this person as a tax preparer.  I was all set to praise her on a job well done (well, actually, I did praise her about that) but noticed that I had to break the news to her that she had to enter everything on it again, because she had simply done the whole return in the wrong year and there's no way to just transfer info.  :(

It is still sore, but getting better.  In fact, the doctor says that if I take it easy, my back should be back to normal about the same time that Jed and Ann finish moving! ::)

NO!

We stop them at the borders!
We only accept Americans who look (and sound???!!!) like George W. ;)

I thought in France they might call the film BRICKBATS MOUNTIN' - at least based on how we were treated during our visit.  :)

DRvixmom, did you get all your questions answered today?

Oh you're back!! Yes!  I am quite intriqued to hear this after all you have been saying.  All this time I've been thinking of the Babes In Toyland with Laurel and Hardy but everything you been saying today makes it clear that I have been entirely on the wrong track all along.  Do you have any expected date for the release of your work?
