Well, I was thinking about Florida, but I have a couple of Republican friends on the site I wouldn't want to ruffle.

I do have to add that I was proud today the Republicans also were dismayed about the Arabian firm controlling the ports. But then I was sorry about the patriot act being signed; what are those asses thinking? After they've come for the first round of enemies, they'll find reason with the act to start on another group, and then another. Ugly business.

The Vixter was talking about her Social Studies class tonight She explained to me how the Continetal Congress took the Roman Empire as their example of how to create a good government but with the precaution to keep checks and balances becasue the rRoman Empire fell when it became a dictatorship and began to limit its citizens' freedoms, rights and protections

It made me want to send a few government officials back to seventh grade

Well... THE VIBES WORKED!!!!

They ended up re-running and re-checking some tests they had run previously, and they were able to provide my cousin, Richard, with a diagnosis of colitis.

I'm not sure when he'll be able to leave the hospital, but at least they found the problem, and they didn't have to open him up to find out what it was. I'm gonna try to stop by tomorrow morning to check in on him. *I'm just hoping the extra days he had to spend in the hospital due to the delayed diagnosis will all be covered by his insurance. However, in the meantime...
