I don't know what happened, but about ninety minutes ago I was thinking about eating something, and then I was on the phone and I spun around quickly, just for fun, and since then I have been incredibly nauseous and haven't wanted to eat anything.  Weird.

Ah, I love The Dining Room.  I remember it was running the same summer at the Kennedy Center when Ghosts with Liv Ullmann was there also.  Ghosts was in the Eisenhower - Kevin Spacey played the son, and The Dining Room was playing upstairs in the Terrace.  Not a bad summer of theatre for a 14-year old.

I find it incredibly odd that since I've been here we have not had one "official" haineshisway.com get-together.   Not with Ben, not with Rodzinski, not even with FJL.  It's a little wacky to me, but what do I know.

It's called "the rehearsal process".

We just heard Bryan received another secondary application, from OHS (Oregon Health & Science University).  :)  We are now up to 21 out of 22 received.  How many returned I don't know.

WOW!

I do hope they're not requiring them all to be handwritten applications.   8)

I agree with Jose.   :o :o Who said that?  :o :o  I think that most of the people who live in New York figured you were a little bit preoccupied with rehearsals to socialize.  Once your show opens to rave reviews, I am sure your dance card will improve.

 ;D

From my veiwpoint there have been plenty of gatherings, you don't need official ones.

Bruce, feel better.  Without physically spinning I have been having some major spinning spells lately.  They aren't making me sick & I have found them to be sort of fun.

DR Jeanne, I also used to get dropped off at the movies when I was a tiny kid...my mom would drop of myself, my friends Theresa and Shannon, and sometimes my little brother at the Craterian Theatre downtown. I remember seeing Dumbo, Bambi, That Darn Cat, all the Kurt Russell Disney flicks, Monkey's Uncle, Snow White and The Incredible Journey (the first movie I can remember crying at).

This was in the early 70s. Ten years later, around 1983 the theater stopped showing first run movies and kids movies and moved on to XXX films. I saw Wanda Whips Wallstreet at the Craterian in 1983 with my friends Steve and Marcie.

It is funny to read about the Craterian, before it became the Craterian, Ginger Rogers Theater.

When I was growing up kids were supervised so much. Many of the films Jan and I saw weren't kids films and I recall being quite confused at one or two. Of course, THE BLOB was self-explanatory.

I was very supervised & I did not understand why my father wouldn't let me see THE CHILDREN'S HOUR.

That's the one...although, I've never listened to it.

My favorite score of theirs, and one BK keeps threatening to release.  :)

What I want to know (and I keep forgetting to look ::)) is when each new and returning show has its first new episode.

The majority of shows come back starting on Monday next week. Some have been delayed for a week or more for one reason or another, but basically, premiere week is next week.

From my viewpoint there have been plenty of gatherings, you don't need official ones.

Why just last night at Arena, the Dear Wife Joy and I got together with Cason, BJ, Juliana and Bruce.  So what if there were a few other people there, too?

Had a full evening of DVD and DVR and TV entertainment tonight.

I began with two more episodes of BONES (which finishes up the first disc). A child in foster care was being accused of killing her boy friend. Brennan takes it personally becasue she, too, had gone through the system of foster care.

The other BONES episode involved a serial killer on death row who had toyed with Bones and Booth last season and had someone doing his dirty work for him, some especially grisly murders of young blonde women.

This was one of my least favorite episodes from season two.

Next, I watched the season finale of SAVING GRACE.

The "s-word" must have been used 25 times during the broadcast by various actors. And the case wasn't all that special either, more crime drama than mystery. There was some good character stuff with Grace taking charge of her young nephew who was getting into some trouble trying to be "cool," but other than that, the episode didn't offer much.

I do like the two actors who play Grace's suitors on the show, but I'm not sure I can justify the time just to see these two hunky men in action (and not with each other which would have been a greater incentive).
