I was at a Town Meeting tonight, the Tanger Outlet people, have discovered out little hamlet and have decided it is the perfect place to put a 190 store "Outlet Mall", complete with BJ's Wholesale Club and 16 screen , 3000 seat movie theatre, and five  restaurants.
Tanger owns the three major outlet malls here in Rehoboth Beach, but we can't blame them for the congestion exactly.  The malls were already here, and Tanger bought them from the previous owners.

Our major problem is all the housing going in, with no additional roads or any plans on improving transportation or sewage or fire or police departments or ...

You get the idea.

I know what would make feel bett, DR SWW come Cook for me... my mouth waters when I hear of your dinners, and my cooking is very plain.. I am married to an Englishman y'know, the meal must be meat , no fancy sauces or spices please, there must be potatoes, no rice, noodles etc although stuffing (bread, no sausages, fruits etc etc) and a vegatable, preferably peas

I used to know how to cook, but now I am more of  heater upper!!

Where are those West Coasters now?

Hmm... Is this the beginning of an HHW East Coast-West Coast feud? Like the rappers do?

No!  I was watching "Lost" at 8:45 p.m.

Just finished interviewing Michael Forest. A very, very nice guy! And he did a great interview!

And BK, you might be interested to know that Michael Forest guest starred on the same Star Trek episode as your love, Leslie Parrish.

You may also be interested to know that Ms. Parrish now lives up my way, somewhere around Seattle.

And you may be even more interested to know that Michael Forest has been in contact with her in recent years, and may be able to contact her to let her know that I would like to interview her!

vixmom-You gotta fight those bullies. Look at what the Crossings outlet mall has done to the Poconos, or what the outlet mall of Gilroy, Cal. has done to the Garlic Capital of the US, to name two examples I've seen. They would say, oh, look at the business and jobs we brought! But downtown Gilroy is now a shell of  a few antique stores; that area of the Poconos is now a traffic mess. Ah well. Progress, right?

Having so much fun here, but I gotta hit the hay. Glad we worked out the East-Coast/West Coast Feud. Peace, brothers and sisters.

Tomovoz, you need this Skeeter Davis LP I found recently called "Here's the Answer". It features original songs by guys Skeeter promptly answers.
"Tell Tommy" is on there.

Also: Jim Reeves does "He'll Have to Stay"
Skeeter responds: "He'll Have to Go"

Have the album: I think the only original for Skeeter was "Im Falling Too"
I have about 100 answer songs!! All of them bad.
Jeanne Black had Hit answer song to "He'll Have To Go".  I also like the Homer & Jethro Version "Put Your Fat Mouth A Little Closer"

Another version of Last Date years later by "Emmy Lou Harris - different lyrics.
You need to know all that of course.

Whoops! A while since I used a quote. You get the drift.

Segue into Drifters!!!

Of course Damita Jo answered both "Save The Last Dance For Me" and "Stand By Me"

MBarnum, that is great news.  Don't hog her to yourself - she must read the Kritzer books and I must meet her.  And if you interview her, it will appear HERE first.

I'm at sea...perplexed...didn't DR Stuart tell us all and one, one and all, that DR Jay would be back among us in the near future?

It's my bedtime.  I am tired and in hope that I will go to sleep and sleep soundly until my alarm awakens me at oh-dark-thirty tomorrow.

Yes, DR JRand54, I think it's a small obsession.  Curiousity does not yield years and years of "Allison Hayes Picture of the Week" postings.  Curiousity is a sometime thing.

You've got it good, and that ain't bad.

And there must be a very, VERY wonderful full-length photo of her as Daisy Mae inscribed scandalously to and for BK.
