I'm telling you, the day we hit a new low is the day I do something that might be perceived as unpopular with the populace.  We've lost too many people I like and we've had only a couple of people come here recently (I'm working on more, believe me) and the one thing I will not allow this site to do is die a slow, lugubrious death.

For the pet lovers among us, a dog breeder around here had way too many dogs so they made him take 39 to the Humane Society.  They put in on the news and they were all adopted within one hour!!  I guess a week ago he had to turn over 19,,they were adopted just as quickly.  It's refreshing to know so many people will step up and help the dogs

Don't know why people aren't posting.  Perhaps they are busy with life, perhaps they don't have anything to say, perhaps they are just not on the computer day and night....who knows

It's been weeks since we had a sunny day....people are grumpy, oh yes, people are grumpy

Well, it was a gorgeous day here in NYC today! I spent my lunch hour just walking around midtown. And tomorrow's forecast is supposed to gorgeous-er!  And 66 degrees! I suspect I will be spending a couple of hours in Central Park tomorrow.

It's supposed to be wonderful here tomorrow and Thursday....we won't talk about Saturday and the measurable snow...but at least all the old snow is gone....well except for the big piles, there are yards and streets and sidewalks....woo and hoo!

I had a great day today, actually. a couple new clients and two of my clients in removal proceedings (deportation) asked for a hearing.  The FIRST available date for people out on bond is March 6, 2012...yup two years from now.  So, they'll be here on bond for two years before getting a hearing.  Pretty amazing

DR edisaurus - If you happen to get a chance, ask Dustin Hoffman if he remembers the steak knives from Ruth's Chris Steakhouse in DC.

Speaking of driving, DerBrucer I'm glad to see you are getting out.

I almost feel guilty about recovering so quickly. One of Woody's co-workers remarked that I look better now than I did before the surgery - which I have difficulty believing (although Woody says I have more color now).
